Would have been more excited if not every character had fake D+ breasts, but I'll add it to my backlog

... Really? How exactly did you find out that D+ breasts of the girls in this fictional fantasy 2D game are fake?
Because they are all perfect circles, from the preview pics, only the blue girl's seems to have any droop to them. But really, that's a minor complaint compared to them all being the same size. Personally, I prefer C or less, but I'm not gonna hold someones preferences against them; that being said variety is nice.

You know the sudden thought of her summoning you with the intenchion of having an unintelligent sex slave made me wonder if as a human we can also summon things. But a larger thought what if we had the option of faking or acting like were some super powerful entity and we manage to bluff our way to ruling the kingdom. It would be rather funny at the end your setting on the thrown with the 2 rulers in chain collars kneeling before you as you say to your self, "How did that even work?"

Hey there guys, I’ve been reading all your comments and taking note of every single suggestion you’ve told me here, I wanna improve and make the game something better, and something you’ll enjoy.

It’s been a bit disappointing to me that after working on the game for probably 2-3 months, I haven’t got any support on Patreon, not even one, I don't know if I did something wrong or the game doesn't really worth it. I'm open to suggestions, what do you want to see in the game? I can work on it, maybe I can change something? I'm excited about this, and I really really want to create something good.

I just created a Discord server, so you can tell me what you really think about the game, what I can change or improve, what do you want to see, and I'm gonna work on it, again, thanks for all your responses, I want to learn and get better, Thanks.

Game looks pretty great, so I don't think there is any problem. Only thing you should keep in mind is; it is going to be hard to get support. It will take time for people to see, play and decide it is alright to support and they will get what they pay for. Summertime Saga has a lot of content and mostly because of that and the premium content; people loves it, it will be hard to find people who supports you but not them. Most of the potential supporters already get what they are looking for, that might be the reason why nobody supported as well.

Regardless, it is hard to maintain focus while no one supports you economically. Over time, I believe people will notice and support; I hope that you achieve your goals as fast as possible. <3

Hey there! TEDtalk incoming.

Don't let negative responses in this thread get to you. Seriously, no matter how well polished your game is there are always going to be folks who dislike your product for one reason or another--it's completely unavoidable and you can't always win everyone over. Instead, put your focus on the comments with constructive criticism or suggestions for how to streamline the game or improve certain features.

Don't take purely hate-filled comments seriously (these comments are bound to happen), but do try to listen to the people who might provide meaningful reasons as to why they didn't have a fully enjoyable experience while playing your product. This feedback is immensely helpful for you as a developer, it allows you to see what people are generally struggling with in terms of game mechanics, or what kinks/fetishes you might want to consider implementing in the future. Don't take these things as gospel of course, but it's good to take all of this stuff into consideration. Most importantly though, you should make the game that you want to play, because if you don't enjoy what you're working on then what's the point? No amount of money can make you enjoy working on something you hate.

Relatedly, don't focus so much on the money side of things at first. You aren't going to get rich overnight doing this. There are countless new patreon-based H-games hitting the market right now. New games are coming out on a daily basis, you can see this simply by clicking the Latest Updates button at the top of this site and scrolling down to see all of the v0.1 version numbers. 95% of these titles will never become profitable.

So which patreon-funded games do become profitable? The ones that stick with it. Seriously. If you can just continue working on your game and communicating with your fanbase (that includes Patreon and also any other sites you're personally sharing the game, like here) then you're going to do very well with this game I think. Just based on a few of the comments in this very young thread alone, there are people who are already extremely excited about the prospect of a CCG-inspired H-game (myself included).

Financial success won't come overnight. But if you stick with it, it's almost inevitable that it will happen at some point. You can look at other Patreon projects as perfect examples of this. Smiling Dog is a great example--they created the game Nano-Control, a game which was first posted here about 2 and a half years ago. At that time I don't believe they had any Patreon supporters whatsoever, and look at them now. They're making over $4,000 per month, which certainly isn't enough to make anyone fabulously rich, but I'd say that's a great sign that the game has been a success. Yes, it's taken them a long time to get that point and they've put a *lot* of work in to get there, but it's proof that it can be done.

Summertime Saga is something of an outlier, but I think it's also a testament to how these types of games can become wildly popular if you continue putting the work in and listening to your fans. That game was originally posted to F95 in late 2016, and I don't recall it having a massive fanbase overnight either. But look at them now... the game is a runaway hit and the development team is bringing in $67,000 per month. (And ironically enough, if you read through that game's thread here on F95 you'll also see tons of comments hating on the game mixed right in with comments supporting it. Even a development team making 67k a month can't please everyone, so don't let negativity get to you.)

Success is not guaranteed, but if you stick with it and work with your fans to develop not only a game that you enjoy but also incorporate ideas from your players, I think you'll do just fine. You certainly have the skills as an artist and a developer. Don't let the response to your initial release get you down. You have a real gem here, and a real opportunity at building something great. Stick with it my friend, you got this.

What others have said. The thread here has only just started, so it'll likely take a while to build up a following. There's a large base of people here who won't even d/l a game until several updates in, usually waiting for enough "content" to justify the bandwidth. The longer you go, showing that you can keep a steady update schedule, the more people will be willing to invest.

Despite me having some bug, I'm very happy with the art/progress and I hope you continue. I think most people don't immediately jump to support on patreon after the first update, just takes time. Definitely will follow up with this since I liked it

I meant more the fact that this is fiction, so strictly speaking any size of drawn tits is considered fake to us. Yet in game itself it depends totally on worldbuilding and it's rules. So if creator says they are perfect and natural in his work, then they are. Anyway, variety is always nice.

Well from what I saw the 2 main reasons the projects gather a lot of supporters are(besides idea, media and how well made it is)
1)How well known game is(Also how well known developer is)
2) how much confidence development inspires and work with fanbase.

(1) The first thing to do it's to spread the news about the game, without solid fanbase and a few projects under your name chances of it spreading like wildfire by itself are almost nonexistant(games aren't viruses), so for a new developer it will take a lot of work to make himself and his game known, even more to make it popular. There are a ton of things which can be done about it, even on this forum itself, just taking part in discussions of community while showing a colourful banner of your game with link to it on forum will help(You don't even need to do it yourself, anyone who liked your game can add banners to their post, if they exist ofcourse(banners)). same with getting game developer tag, it will make easy for people to find you and let them realize that the developer himself posted a game on forum, which actually makes difference.

(2) Not many games live long enough or to their ending, so not many people jump on new projects right at their start(actually many don't even play first versions and decide to wait to see if the project will live when they see it, I myself do so). Or later at that matter if they are still not satisfied with how their development is going. It can be rised by making regular updates(the faster the better, once in half a year aren't a good pace if you want to gather a lot of support), work with fanbase and such. Alfman7 wrote about Summertime saga in his post and the developer of this game did a hellish ton of work in this derection, I remember him doing livestreams drawing art for the game every other day on his patreon page, I can't think of any better way to show that the work is going on.

So, work, patience and striving to get better all is needed. If you think that great ideas by new developers are getting support right away, and if you are not getting any means you are doing something wrong, then you are mistaken, that just means that they started to work on spreading news about their game long ago before actually releasing something, they hit niche, or they made game which is related to something else with already existing fanbase(take games related to Harry Potter for example).

Your game is a good beginning. I like the boy attitude wich is not macho like his father was. Please correct Vision card : You where victim of the copy-paste syndrome and her card mention Thunder instead of Vision. From a art point of vue, a lot of female faces look alike, and I regret that. Be carefull, Patreon doesn't like mom/son relations.
