This game probably really is dead, but you have no idea how the abandoned tag works. ^^
Man, it's a shame this game has been abandoned. Personally, I'm interested in games that have pregnancy content and I'm sorry that, just when they were going to implement that mechanic, the developers left their game behind. I feel very disappointed because it seemed that the pregnancy was going to be an important part of the plot and that the protagonist was going to have a more active role in that aspect. Perhaps reaching, why not, even the narrative implementation of the birth of those “mysterious magical babies.” An aspect that would have given the game more identity, unlike other games that have the "pregnancy" label indicated but are only a few images in the game's epilogue or in the characters' endings. A shame without a doubt.
