I think public releases are scheduled weeks after the chapter is finalized. This is a pre-alpha of an unfinished chapter, so the earliest we can expect it is mid October.
Next month?! Aw hell nah. I guess we have to endure a little bit until the end of this shitty month or so.

I don't think it would be the case, it could behave like that in theory (the author of the method just want an "elegant way" of giving access to authorized user when offline without taking up another memory, but in this particular case its cached in the user's phone)

Was that.. a slang? You really shouldn't do that in international forum.. I thought you were insulting me..
Calm your tits down, I ain't trying to make fun of anybody out here.

There was an interesting debate about paywalls in games in this thread and as a cracker who works as game developer for almost 10 years already I wanted to share my 2 cents on the topic as well

The context is very important obviously, but if we're speaking about indie dev who makes his small porn game project that is incorrect to assume making any paywalls / release delays / whatever will bring you more money. The only thing developer should care about in this state is audience, fans and his game. Adding new features, content, engaging new players and grow as a developer to hopefully become good at what you do, maybe even recognizible at least in some groups, and making project popular

When you have playerbase there is always a way to monetize it, but you don't even have to in this case. Look at Akabur as an example. People know him, love his works and he still makes a shit ton of money through patreon support despite not releasing anything for a long time and his last game objectively being complete trash

Embedding paywalls is the way to show your audience that your main goal is to grab some money and not to make a cool project that people love, even if that's not completely true. That turns them away. In some cases it can yield some profit for the developer but that is going nowhere long term. Of course there are also patreon scams that milk money very succesfully and earn a lot of cash to this day (We won't tell the names here, it will be crime to call them out) and yes, unfortunately, it's working way to make money. Just like other types of scams, including malware distribution, but is that really what you want as a person/developer/player?

That's all for now. Be passionate about what you do, don't seek profit and profit will find you itself, speaking as game developer who subjectively has built successful career in the industry

while this argument might have some merit to it, some small devs probably "feel" that the cards are stacked against them and they need to implement some restrictive measures as some sort of financial breathing room, even if it's temporary. it's kinda like how some countries, usually ones with small economies, feel that protectionist tariffs are a way to "protect" themselves from "vulnerabilities."

Not here to argue about my personal opinion on the paywalls themselves.

But humans are complicated, a denuvo lite extension in one's game doesn't immediately mean the developer doesn't care about them and is only in it for the money. i'd be more inclined to agree with you, but the developer of this game offers public releases with due time. That actually tells me the contrary of what you think of him.

though, i'm starting to understand something. is the fear for denuvo lite like applications on games due to the risk of it being popularized in the future? Because thinking about future repercusions, i'm now against drms.

I get the sentiment, but with such a kneejerk reaction they're shooting themselves in the foot. Paywalling won't suddenly get you subs. Making a game that's better than average and making yourself known will. People who play pirated games most likely don't consider the price to be worth it, and trying to force their hand into paying won't make them change their tune. They'll just ignore you and move on to some other game that's either still free or worth the price.

Can anyone that played the new version comment on if the NTR route is back on track? (As in not loving it when Mel cozy up to another man´s cock (See Boss dinner) or rather doesn't know about it at all?
