The screenshots make it look like a souls-like asset flip with stolen SelfDrillingSMS clips, so I checked Steam and it has a trailer... which looks the same but kinda worse since it just randomly cuts to those clips.
I was gonna wait for somebody to actually say something specific about the game and not waste 5gb, but I've been too negative about first impressions lately so I tried it out. Turns out, no, it is very aggressively a souls-like asset flip, down to the inexplicable space marine in the poorly-scaled house you start in.
The combat... exists, I guess. You go through a random assortment of levels that are more or less mindlessly slapped together and loosely littered with basic enemies, ending with a slightly stronger enemy. Combat consists of just hitting an enemy until it starts to swing, then parry and repeat. You beat the level boss and add a dude to the house and unlock the next level. You can ask each dude in the house to have sex and they each play a few seconds of a cropped SFM animation.
I foolishly committed further by going through the game as fast as possible to see if there was a credits screen that actually gave credit to the animators, said where the assets were from, or gave credit to Kevin MacLeod and/or whatever Soundcloud account they took the trap remix of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy from, but nope.
You get to the end of the vampire castle and spend several minutes waiting for the boss to stop blocking long enough to chip away a little at his health, then you get a small text blurb at the end saying you win and it kicks you to the title screen. Also the boss of the vampire castle is a beefed-up Gibdo with a plank on his face and I suspect the dev never expected anybody to bother getting that far.
