So far the updates have come a month apart, but I feel like there's a massive misconception people have about what actually takes the time when making an AI driven VN - at least one that is any good. Also, is this game on a monthly release schedule? Most other AI-art games are, and for good reason, it shouldn't take as much time or resources to generate AI art, compared to genuine, hand-drawn art.
It's not the rendering. Once you know what you're doing and have a good GPU you can bust out hundreds of amazing renders in a couple weeks that isn't the issue. The issue is everything outside of the rendering. The image editing and quality control, the writing, the audio design, the proofreading and feedback.
The rendering is literally the easiest part of making an AI vn.
For now we are aiming at a Christmas~ release. But there's certainly no guarantees. Abyss doesn't do this full time, he has a job on top of this. And I also only help in my spare time. People need to be aware of the actual things that hold up production, it isn't rendering.
