This is my first project and mainly a learning experience. I know I can't please every single one of you, but some of these comments are hurtful, as I try to do the best I can, with the time that I have. I try to take feedback into account, as long as it doesn't change the direction of the game that I have envisioned. Some things are easily fixable and I always try to improve the character interactions or build out their personalities more as the game progresses with every new chapter, but there will always be those that are angry/upset with the direction that I take. it really hurts to see the effort some individuals go through, to ruin the credibility of the game, due to it not aligning with their own views. I'm only human, I have a full-time job. This is something I do in my spare time. I've been developing Shadows of Ambition for 5 months now and I thought I was getting better at the way I present things, but... I guess I'm not.
As I said, I'm really trying to make a game/novel/comic/slideshow of images (whatever you want to call it at this point), that you can all enjoy as much as possible. I'm sorry if the decisions I make/made don't align with your own vision of how the story should play out.

Don't worry about criticism from people whose advice you wouldn't take.
You did and still doing a great job.
Think of that: Shadow of Ambition and My New Girlfriend are probably the two games with most influence in the current adult AI games universe. Moreover, there are so many random AI games here and there trying to emulate your products. I believe the biggest compliment you can ever receive is someone trying to copy your job!

Here:
There is ZERO reason Luke couldn't be home when Alice arrives.
Asleep and still exhausted from the night before. He only just got home. He was about
to text Alice when she started banging on his door. Nothing has to change. Just that.
Her banging brings Kate out. All of that happens as is. Only Luke is there panicking about
Kate letting things slip to Alice. Luke gets Alice alone for a second to tell her what happened.
We get that whole living room scene early. Sophie breaks them up because she wants to go
shopping. They invite Kate. Luke's not sure that's a good idea.
Sophie mentions the discount and Luke (after Liam) is sure he knows how she got it.
Again he worries she's a bad influence.
Inside Sophie and Kate compete to tease Luke. NOT THE AUDIENCE.
Alice is not happy about this and starts losing confidence. Luke sees this and encourages her.
Alice starts becoming more confident and competitive. Like she does in the scene. For Luke.
That's when Sophie starts up with her "you need to share Luke, it's only fair." crap.
Alice sees this as the same way Sophie manipulated her with Rob. Like she does.
Luke reassures her that he only wants her. Building back he confidence again.
You still have the same tit show, it's just played out the RIGHT way.
When they leave, Luke TEXTS Olivia that he accepts the job after spending time with Alice
and her being supportive of it. She tells him there is a package waiting for him.
He and Alice go back to the apartment to get it. They both discuss the camera.
Luke texts Olivia back about it. As it happens.
Alice reminds Luke that Sophie wants to be on OogleFans and they discuss it.
She says she doesn't think she can do that but is okay if Luke takes pics of Sophie.
So this doesn't look shady and out of character for Luke... who is already bumbling through
situations as is.
Luke gets a text from Liam about the yoga class. They agree to go.
The rest resumes as it does.
Everything fixed and better. Barely any new art needed.
I could do it easy in my mod with the art there is.
Speaking if my mod and the wonderful job of the proofers...
My mod fixed ever broken elements the new update brought with it by default.
It also corrects every single typo in the story. My mod is better proofed.
If you want a good and trustworthy proofer.. I'll do it. I already have.
Like I said I love this story and the characters. Liam is amazing! Do not fuck him up.
All because there is sex and fetish in something does not mean it's just "porn" and dismissed like that.
The art is amazing. The writing is fucking good if consistant. But that's not Abyss' fault.
That's the fault of you guys he rely on proofing it.

Seriously. Abyss. Don't shy away. Keep interacting with your base. Confront the critics. Ask for
details on why they have problems. You don't have to bend to them. Just understand them.
Not everyone is going to have praise all the time.
And I mean it when I say, I'll happily help you if you want it. I want this to succeed so bad.
I really really do. Just like I wanted my devs to succeed. And they have been succeeding.

We are always willing to read/consider feedback, and see what merit it has. But try not to come in with outright hostility and expect a positive response.

The difference here is, if you have something to say about my game, which you don't.
I doubt you've read it but let's say you have... we WANT feedback, both positive and negative.
I'm not going to run to a Mod to have a comment from our forum banned, or deleted because
I had my feefees hurt. Just like I wouldn't ban or kick someone from our Discord for having
a negative opinion. I would take time, like I do to talk to them and understand them.

I'm playing it right now, though I think I've played enough to get the gist. I don't enjoy giving negative feedback—I have plenty of it, but I don’t like engaging in negative dialogue. The game just isn't for me. I find the dialogue lifeless and stiff (for example, "Did you finally sign that big deal?" "Yeah, with the client I told you about."). It’s the kind of generic, lifeless dialogue we’ve seen a thousand times before, but this time with even less detail, like a filler episode in the middle of a conversation. The main character feels like a spineless cretin with no self-respect, and the wife comes across as a gaslighting manipulator. It's for other people to enjoy, and that’s fine.
I also didn't say it's just porn, I said it is porn. That doesn't mean we're not trying to improve the writing, but that is something that can only be done through improving over time, and hopefully less tight deadlines than what we've run with so far.
I do find it amusing you think I don't want to see it succeed and grow when I've put many, many hours into helping... I don't even disagree with some of your points. But we have jobs, we have responsibilities. Once something is written we don't have endless time to rewrite, re-render and re-edit the images for that portion.
I bear you no ill will, in spite of you attacking my contributions, my skills and apparently even my gender as the chapter apparently made you "hate men". But I do find myself a little annoyed by the fact you seem unable to engage in critique without ad hominem and hostility. That isn't very productive.

We released the Alpha on Patreon last week. That one I re wrote. Not the beta demo.
But anyone with a not so positive view of the beta demo is very welcome to it.
I honestly had some choice things to say about it myself. I have nooo problem discussing
what I feel are weakness in the projects I'm involved in. And you're right, it's not for everyone.
My work is real NTR. Not the misunderstood trash filling.. well.. everywhere.
Enough about that though. I am sorry, truly, if I made you think I was somehow bashing you
directly for being a guy. On the flip side, my point is it gets old fast all the damn objectification.
Normally I don't mind it. I don't get mad when I get cat called in real life. I don't care if some rando
grabs my ass. I tend to laugh it off. My exes start fights though. I'm actually pretty chill with a good
sense of humor. The issue is how that scene was delivered. It was stupid and bad. Had Luke been there
it would have been good. Opinion sure. I challenge you to try my suggestion and see how it plays out.
I guarantee you it will be better seeing Luke getting teased.

Hello, congratulations on your game! I generated this image to show that I have some knowledge of what I’m talking about (This just the best approximation of what I feel the style is, using a lot of Melkor, of which I was a fan long before the AI scene. It hasn't been cleaned up or upscaled... t's raw footage.) and am not just pulling things out of thin air. I’m a low-key developer, and you’re welcome to check my portfolio if you’d like. Typically, I wouldn’t message a random porn site, which is how I personally view this, but while I was on my goonses, I came across your game. It immediately captured my attention... the style was compelling. I launched it, tried it out, and the consistency of the characters and the manipulation of the poses impressed me. I felt it was important to at least share my thoughts.
Couldn’t care 10 shits of fetishes involved, that’s for the rest of the community to decide. What fascinates me is the consistency of the AI and the narrative(coorelating images). Now, I’m familiar with Controlnets and Loras, obviously (I’m by no means a pro, not even a novice), I worked on some of my own tensors and stuff but... I’d love to hear about the workflow for training character Loras and working with Controlnets .The moment I saw your game, I realized I had to message you, ask questions, and show my appreciation... so, do with that what you will. I’m familiar with Daz and Reallusion, and I’ve invested thousands of hours refining my own Dforce shaders, especially when it comes to hair (though, with Melkor, it doesn’t really matter).
I see immense potential, maybe 3D game or recreating the shader in an actual game or a 3D novel. Imagine that? Whatever it is, the possibilities are endless, and they flashed through my mind. I couldn’t resist asking you about it, so yeah... I’d be glad to hear what you think?

Hi, I just finished the game... and it blew my mind how much I liked it. So keep up the great work, it doesn't matter what others say or think. You have a certain vision, stick with it.
Quoting SoA in a list of 36 games is how you show love and devotion?
And to be fair, after l playing wife's loyalty, i hope you'll never get to be involved in SoA, cause you would for sure ruined the game. If you want it to succeed, stay away from it, and leave some skilled people do the job.
I'm loving the game so far, especially the art, but the calling every client of the sexy coffee shop 'master' is annoying af. Edit * Since I was critiquing, I thought I'd add a couple things. It's weird to move somewhere with out your things. lol Like why the complication? He moved to a new city. He should have more than two shirts. Why not just have him move to the same location, with the exact same setup but where he shows up with a moving van with all his crap. That's be much more believable and normal. Still like the game but just saying. Edit #2 I should've played more before making a comment. The neighbour squishing his dick and he just takes it was pathetic. Wimpy pushovers aren't my cup of tea. Good luck with the game.
