Hey guys,
Just wanted to take the time to wish you all a Happy New Year. 2025 has been an incredible year for Shadows of Ambition and with these last few months, I was able to spend more time on developing the game. I absolutely love what I do and creating a fun and intriguing story for you all to enjoy. I'm sure you'll all notice the huge improvements made to the game when you launch Chapter 7 | Part I. Considering the first part is around the same size as Chapter 6, that just shows how big Chapter 7 really is. I won't let you guys wait too long on the second part, I promise!
This year definitely had its ups and downs. But overall, I'm quite content with how this year turned out. I'll make a more detailed post about the future plans once Chapter 7 | Part I releases. I was able to test the game using RenPy's internal APK feature and all the new stuff I added seemed to work, although I wouldn't be surprised if something is broken in the APK. (I hope not). I'm just waiting on the last batch of animations from the animator while polishing everything up. I'll have more news about the release soon.
Other than that, 2025 has been a rough year for a lot of people in the world. The economy has slowed down and I'm sure everyone is feeling the effects of that. But hopefully, 2026 will be better. Either way, a big cheers to 2026 and let's make it the best year, yet.
