I do like the way Circle builds his scenes. There's always this incredible build-up and that constant tension that keeps you on the edge of your seat. He's very good at that.

I like sex scenes in your game much more than the ones in MNGF. Both the build-up and flow is better in SoA - they feel more erotic and sensual, IMO.
What I like more about MNGF than SoA is that the protagonist is more assertive and dominant

at some point, when the writing takes its toll, it's probably best to just stop, take five and relax. return to writing when fully refreshed. as for deadlines, it's probably best to set them only when the thing to be released is actually done, like what many mainstream game studios do.

Both games have their strong points and their weak points. I like the dev's approach to his audience in SoA much more, the beauty of the girls and the scenes too, but I prefer the story of MNGF, the build up is more fluid, the agency part of SoA makes me sleepy.

While I 100% agree with your point on announcing dates - something I myself have told every Dev I've worked with - most game studios notoriously don't do this. We currently live in the age of announcing unrealistic dates then delaying many months or in some cases even years.
I didn't really have a point with this, but I do wish studios (and solo devs!) would only announce a date at the final hurdle.

100% agrees it's been more than a few times that I have seen this problem of announcing date early and raising the expectations of the audience. But not being able to deliver them.

I think it's better to announce it when you know that yeah it's definitely getting released that day.

some devs probably feel that they need to announce a date to give something to their fans. at the other end, the kind of dev that goes full-on radio silence in between update releases is something that fans might not like but is something that's more practical for a dev to do since it doesn't tie the dev's hands. "it's ready when it's ready."
