3 different routes. 12 different side characters. Hours of monotonous filler gameplay. Any one of these things can cause slow pacing, and this game has all three. Shame, because the renders are good.

Absolutely, the two engines serve different purposes, and RPGM is made for *drum roll* RPG games, this isn't an RPG game this is a visual novel/sandbox game. The only way this game can be enhanced is by a straight-up renpy remake, RPGM is trash for making these sorts of games. it makes for a terrible experience especially for playing a game that's still in development.

I think one of the main appeals of working in RPGM is that you don't necessarily need to learn any sort of coding to get started. It's very beginner friendly, whereas in Ren'py, you do need to learn some basic python programming. Coding can help with RPGM as well, but it isn't needed.

Blackmail - Forcing someone to do what you want by threatening them with a consequence they don't want to face. Basically, ruining the relationship between Fred and Camillia by exposing her shadier activities to Fred.
Cheating - Camilla willingly goes behind Fred's back to fuck around with Jason.
Cuckold - Jason is slowly opening Camilla up to being more sexual with him and Fred will realize that he actually enjoys seeing it happen rather than get upset and end the relationship over it.

This update is endlessly long and annoying, useless dialogues, and awfully long mini game giving the filling to not having done anything.

You're starting a file that's set in the cheating path. This update is for the cuckold path. You need to load a save file that's on that path or start a fresh file and work your way through that path. It's a different story once you branch off from the initial start.
