This week was mostly spent on more posing and rendering images for the Branson path scenes that I have left to work on. I was tackling a mix of some images from the village scene as well as images from a scene after that with your character, Qinara and Branson back in the wagon. Probably not the most exciting of images, so I decided to use the above image as the update banner this week.
I wanted to show the map system I was working on, but I still have some coding bugs to work out and get it working properly. You may recall a few updates back I showed a map I had been working on. It started out as a map that I needed to use to replace parchment maps in some of the images for the story. Then I was going to add it to the Players Guide, then I thought about adding it to the journal. It has slowly evolved into hopefully a working map that will appear in the game that you can click on and move around. I am working to create a fog overlay that covers areas of the map you have not visited or learned about and as the story progresses these areas would be unveiled. It is a little something extra I have been working on when I have some small chunks of free time. I hope to have it all working soon to show by the next update.
That is all for this update. I will keep it short and sweet and get back to working on Branson's path so I can get things caught up to all the Damerek work that is done. I hope you all have a great weekend and thank you again for all the support!

It is great to see that you spent time typing your comment when you could've just reported the OP and said why this should be labeled Abandoned.It is great to see that f95z rules are both valid and respected by all...
After 18+ months with no update this game/thread hence is labelled as "abandoned".

tried reporting, twice actually, a week and a few days has passed since then, and more will pass, have no doubt there...thats the "inner beauty" of the zooone.

Plenty of people on this site, even long-time users, post in threads without making any further effort — they don't search, they don't report, they don't check Patreon, etc. Just par for the course, really, so making that assumption about posters I don't recognize is somewhat justified. But I guess if you've reported it, there's nothing more really to be done. Doesn't really matter whether there is an abandoned tag or not, simple maths will tell you that this game isn't going to be finished. Development is just too slow. Shards is 2.5 years old and the story is what, 10% done? Simple extrapolation means 22.5 years for the remaining 90%. Yeah, not happening.
Don't get me wrong, I like this game and would like to see it done, but w/o some drastic changes by the dev (spend more time on it, hire a helper, big cuts to branches/choice forks etc.), this current workflow won't work.

I get what you mean, but at least this dev is consistent with not releasing any actual content and updating us on what’s slowly going on. Many games on here get abandoned midway through development or the devs just keep saying the full game is progressing while doing everything but releasing the full game to keep milking supporters
