Any chance of a Rename the MC and change perspective to 1st mod? Would love one for this game cause for me that is the only con the 3rd person. Much prefer 1 person games but this one so very good. This is not a need just a want and I am asking her cause I could have no clue how to code RenPy at all. I love the engine but have no time to learn its coding method. Mostly because I am Struggling with learning QSP as I help with another game.

The Walkthrough states that secondary routes cant be combined, and im doing a walkthrough of Liam Shared and Iris Route, Im however still getting Bree Options, Do i lock myself out of Bree or Iris if i continue Both Bree and Iris Route?

He has a good point about Iris having a thing for Blake getting fucked and Suya having a thing for fucking Blake though. Even if the routes aren't compatible it would be a fun scene and I'd expect Suya would be down for it.

Changing the perspective would require you to rewrite the entire script, which I don't think is feasible at this point.
As for Blake's name, you gotta change the script as well: just go through all files, and ctrl+f all mentions of Blake. However, Blake's name is way too deeply ingrained in the dialogues, and changing it would break several of them.
This is a bug for sure, I never intended their routes to be compatible. I'll look into it.
As for your codex bug, you need to download the hotfix.
The thing about Iris is that she doesn't just want to see Blake railed, she wants to see it being done by a man, so Suya doesn't exactly fit.

I've had my eye on this game for a while, but some irl stuff came up and the sheer size of the game made me wait till I had more time. Now I think I can finally get to it for real and I have 2 quick starting questions.
- I see several routes in the walkthrough (Melinda, Samuel, Vanessa, etc) and each has sub-routes as well. From comments in this thread, I understand that you pick certain routes and you are then locked into them for the rest of the game. Is there some system in-game that lets you know which route you are about to be locked in before you make a deciding (point of no return) choice?
- I also see a hotfix (July 3). I assume I just paste and replace the contents into my "game" folder?
For now i believe you use the Codex to see where you currently are with your relationships, the only way to know if a choice affects anything before you click it, is to use the walkthrough pdf, or wait until our lord and savior Sancho releases his mod for the game.I've had my eye on this game for a while, but some irl stuff came up and the sheer size of the game made me wait till I had more time. There is a mod for 0.14 but ive had mixed experiences with it.

You can leave most routes at certain points, but those opportunities are quite rare.Thanks

As for actually getting on them, the entrance points are fairly obvious most of the time (you're presented with a pretty simple choice between «I want to be with this character» and «I do not», with the exception of Melinda).
As for hotfix, yes, you just download it, and replace old files with the new ones.

I withdraw my request. lol Still when this is the only complaint you have about a game....
I am curious though with the Bimbo route why are Doc and Trish not a Sub or main romance route, or is that tied into the Bimbo route?(got most of that from the walkthrough)

I'd take it as, there are so many routes to go through already.
He probably goes through hell as it is, creating more would cause premature hair loss lol.
I always liked Trish but not a fan of doc.
How ever Taeng, I loved from get go.
I wish she had a route myself.
But I think with all the paths going in so many ways.
We are lucky we have as many as we do.

Interesting...I'm confused then because my non-bimbo, dome, Blake is currently in a relationship/sleeping with both at the moment and I haven't had to chose between them or had any conflict. Honestly no idea how I did it or if its even meant to be possible.
PS I'm playing current build too.

There are several reasons why, and one of the most important ones is that I always wanted to keep doc in his role of a mentor for Blake, thus rendering him invulnerable for Blake's sexual advances. Trish on the other hand is the opposite of that, but with every route I have to keep in mind the ending which it will get, and there's no possible situation in which Blake could steal Trish away from her husband.
Being a bimbo does affect some things, but Blake won't be able to seduce dr. Lowe.
It would've been a bit difficult with Taeng because I imagine her route would've been about her becoming less of a bitch, but Taeng's bitchiness was kinda the pivotal point of her personality, and I doubt she'd be as interesting without it. I think, she's one of the characters I haven't been able to give a proper ending to, so I might change some things in the future.
Are you on Iris's true route? If yes, it shouldn't be possible.

Yeah, Taeng dropped several various hints on Blake at points, but I tend to leave a lot of notes like that throughout the story for various characters — in case I decide to develop something out of it. Taeng herself was never a problem, it was my inability to come up with something that could've made her a more distinct character. I had many ideas for her, but at the end of the day Shattered is a porn game first and foremost, so when I had to choose between getting personal with Taeng or her sticking her dick in Blake's bottom, I had to go with the latter.
And trust me, you're far from the only person who likes her

Ah that makes a lot of sense, looking at it that way I understand why Doc is not an option, and Trish is not one because it is like being with Kurisha or Claud/Troy. It is purely physical, although I think Trish has some .... empathy for Blake in her own words "My heart is married to Doc." So maybe they can stay FWB's kinda like Reese, and wasn't that a hidden gem. WOW!!

I also have a Liam Shared route question? Does Liam sleep around with other people without Blake on this Route? Remember Blake talking to Liam where Liam was wearing womens underwear when coworkers were about to show up, kinda sus.
And the other way around, does Liam know if you are with Iris or Bree on those routes?
