Devs have vanished.Any chance for a continuation?
From what I've managed to piece together, the Developers intended to use the income from another project they had to fund both games, but went bankrupt. If any of them come back and grant permission for the games to be community finished (which they are more than allowed to say) then we'll see.Devs have vanished.
I have this on Steam and we haven't heard anything from the devs since the last update was put out.
Permission? Why and what for? As far as I know modding community for any game never needed any permission from any developer. From what I've managed to piece together, the Developers intended to use the income from another project they had to fund both games, but went bankrupt. To let the community finish the game; some developers who can't finish their project due to other obligations have let the community do it for them with advice or guidance from the original dev.Permission? Modders already have the ability to "finish" the game by adding content however and whenever they like—there’s no need for permission from the developers. What you’re probably thinking of is the developers making the entire project public, including the source code and all assets. That, however, is highly unlikely to happen. To let the community finish the game; some developers who can't finish their project due to other obligations have let the community do it for them with advice or guidance from the original dev.
Unless devs decide to magically resurrect themselves from the void they vanished in - just download this one here. It's exactly the same. One thing tho it's not supporting Steam Workshop.Friends, is this version the same as the Steam one? :extranjero: To buy on Steam even though I know it will never be updated xd
Yep, that's the game. You must be registered to see the linksI think these are the same dev's
Are they working on this other game? You must be registered to see the linksI think these are the same dev's
No, unless that has changed; they went completely bankrupt and abandoned both projects. Are they working on this other game?
They were basically one-two update before full release.for an abandoned project it is surprisingly decent.
