I am running linux only on my machine, and most instructions for building apk are for windows.
But maybe I can get it done using waydroid or smthn, I have never done anything like that.

If anybody has any more input on this, I am open to suggestions.
No promises though.

Just played the game, and this is no 0.6

It's more like a 0.0.0.06 version, barely anything in there.

Not really, first story will be MAX 7 days, maybe (read. the plan is) to make day 5-7 in just a few images and focus on the first 4 instead. So maybe not a 0.6, but close.
Images for day 2, about 100 of them are already generated. I just need to make a few final desitions on what to remove from the story, becuase If I make ALL the ideas I have in one story, this would turn into something completely different from what it is intended to be.

After first story, the novel is at 1.0. After that it will be >v1 versioning.

You only need to install JDK v21 (install it via your package manager); RAPT and the Android SDK are installable via the Renpy SDK. You can use an Android device you have lying around to test it, or be a AAA game dev and have your players test it.

extra/jre21-openjdk 21.0.6.u7-1
OpenJDK Java 21 full runtime environment
(I use arch BTW) xD

But that is just the Java environment, I also need to run a full android environment to be able to even run the ren'py android app, hence me looking into waydrod and then install JDK and SDK and whatnot inside of that and then build.

You can also run your app in an x86_64 image on the Android emulator (note that x86 is not supported). Setting the emulator up is outside of the scope of this document.

But I could ofc be wrong, it is known to have happened before...

That's just the runtime, for compiling you need the JDK, I'd suggest

(I used to use Arch before moving to an M1 Mac).

? The Android environment is just for running the game, not for actually compiling the application, so you don't need the JDK or SDK in Waydroid.
Also do you not have a phone you could use instead?

If that is already 0.6 why not just finishing it first? The reason people have an initial release are just because it will be several hours of playtime and need/want support on the way or they just greedy for money. The game is not even 10 minutes at 0.6.
So instead of putting out a half baked whatsoever you should have finished it first and made sure that it is polished. Seriously I don't understand why you thought it is a good idea to make that as an initial release.

And I am not complaining about the bad writing, the weird pictures etc. The only thing I really wanna point out is the main couple looking like kids. So I gonna report it that a Mod should take a look if that is against rule 7 or not.
