Ngl you can literally do most of the game by simply having your lvl be around 35-40, having kage onna and just spamming pray.

Every encounter, I just spam pray, hit for about 1.5k, kage onna hits for another 1-1.5k, boom done. Only thing you have to do is just hit the gym at the start so you have some natural recovery so you can continue to spam pray and not bother with healing items.

I don't know what happened in this thread, but from what I've seen elsewhere most people agree with you and that seems to be the problem. Most fans seemingly actually miss the original difficulty of the first game.

Regardless, people don't generally consider cheesing an indication of a game's difficulty. Most games can be broken one way or another but in a lot of folks' eyes it's not much different than using cheat codes or glitches/exploits.

Personally while I did enjoy the puzzle-like design of the original game I don't really care, I guess. I still like this game a ton, I just wanted more monstrous monsters and we're getting them bit by bit.

Anyone know how to make use of the "ooze's pet" state given if you entrust yourself to the ooze familiar? I know it's supposed to affect stuff with the 'hive ruler' DD, but it's not working for me.

You have to fulfill the level condition. Don't bother, though, since somewhere along the process between the game being updated and the translators, the Melty Ooze derived demon encounter is replaced with the Boobra instead.

I'm pretty sure those won't transfer until you reobatin them. So you're slightly screwed if you don't wanna use a save editor/mtool to get those back. Others are saved variables, you should just need the game to refresh them via progress.

Updated my game from here, and now I didn't even lose Faith levels from squeezing at the Hotel... not sure if bug, or if they changed something. The Aid equips are interesting, but that float over equipment stats thing is niiiice.

Swore you used to lose levels even without that thing equipped, but maybe that was a bug then that got fixed.

I just used MTL tool and upped my values to the max since it's way too grindy.

1 How do you remove Torodon's special corruption (Addiction)
2 Is there a patch that removes the censoring, or a way to do it myself?

Other than that, grindy but solid and quality fun game
