But to get back to the initial point, rollback is one of the things Ren'Py is known for I believe, there isn't much of a point in disabling it when you can simply save and load anyway, rollback exists so that you don't have to load a save every single time you want to get to an earlier point, especially a recent one.
Similar to skip which exists to not just skip when you simply don't want to read the text but also skip repetitive elements like when increasing the levels of the girls, without it the game would simply grow more tedious than enjoyable because of the repetetivness, which is why I was annoyed by the bug where skip was disabled even after a certain sex battle has ended.

Yeah, usually such things are disabled to avoid unwanted behaviour.

Rollback function now doesn't allow to change your choices. It's also disabled during battles from now on.

Though judging from the hotfix changelog it specifically states to prevent you from changing your choices, being disabled for battles being more of a sidenote and not the main point.

It would have been more of a valid point if you had to go through the whole battle without being able to change anything during it unless you retried, that would make it feel more like a normal game where you can't save in the middle of meaningful battles but had to before it started. Or if it simply created unwanted behaviour where disabling rollback (or skipping) was necessary to avoid it.

I don't understand the logic behind Dynae's transformation. This is an H game and it removed her as a H-character. It does three things:

1 - Makes people uncomfortable who aren't into loli (even if she isn't sexualized, there are people who quit soon as they see a loli).
2 - Frustrates people who are into lolis. There's a point of dialogue where she says "You are no longer attracted to me". That's annoying as hell because it's not true.
3 - Frustrates people who were into adult Dynae by basically removing the character.

In my opinion, there are no positives. It's been two years and her character is basically dead in the water from an H-scene standpoint. My only guess is this script was wrote before Patreon locked down loli content, forcing them to basically give her no more content. However, I feel like the developers never intended to have any loli content in the game from the start.. so why make loli characters in an H game if you don't plan to allow players to H them? Who's the target audience there?

I figured they would add some type of high corruption hidden content for her, but with patreon doing patreon things, there's no way they'd risk the business. Even an "unofficial" external patch to add content for her will still get you shut down, so I have no hope for Dynae content in the near future. They need to age her up ASAP and give her like the body of Ione, maybe a bit smaller, so Patreon won't throw a fit and she can still have H scenes. Or just move to SubscriberStar since Patreon has proven they don't care about developers and having your life's income in the hands of a company like that is playing with fire.

Other than that... I liked the game but it's still got another 3-4 years of development to go before it will be finished.

Most games have Incest patches which aren't against regular law normally... Loli patches on the other hand do apply to that category which is why games hosting such a fetish are rarely on sites like Patreon and either require an adventures Dev that puts stuff in at the end of the game or a dedicated fan.

Here is my opinion:

Dynae is basically the "canon" main girlfriend of the protagonist in the story, and without the horny armor, Nulkan would be in a monagamous relationship with her. Don't forget that Nulkan felt comfortable dating other girls only after the transformed Dynae gave him permission to have sex with others (to deal with the horny armor) because she can't help him anymore.

Compared with other adult game writers, Taifun tends to be on the very serious/"wholesome" end of the story-writing spectrum. In his previous work Space Paws, he spent most of his time writing very monogamous endings where you marry one girl and have children with them (*cough* the secret orgy/harem ending was just a fanservice easter egg *cough*). Even the purpose of the recent 0.42 update was almost entirely the author trying to give closure to Nulkan's guilt about the death of his wife and son, and his guilt for being with new women after his wife died.

Conclusion: Dynae is the default main girl of the story, but the writer (who has a history of liking vanilla relationships) knew this is a harem adult game. So, he had to write a creative excuse for Dynae allowing Nulkan to be with other women (her turning into a child so she can't satisfy Nulkan's cursed armor). If Dynae was still an adult and Nulkan was caught having fun with other women, the writer would have to write a lot of awkward dialogue that slows down the story. Dynae turning into a child was a purely logistical game-writing decision that solves multiple plot issues that the writer had. It's a way to temporarily keep her out of the story while Nulkan builds relationships with others. The whole point of making Dynae into a child was to desexualize the character and make the character inert, so if you're looking for "loli" content, please look elsewhere.

I was not at all uncomfortable. I only saw child Dynae as a child; not a "loli" or anything remotely sexual. Child Dynae also makes it clear very early since her transformation that there won't be anything sexual with her.

If you think about it, the formula is not that different from Space Paws.
In space paws the mc have sex with the furries when he has no idea Alison was his girlfriend in the past.
Now the barrier to not have sex with your "girlfriend" is the underage transformation.

Without these excuses, the mc would be basically cheating to her gf. Which it could be imo a bigger turn off than a kid (not a loli) in the game.

They didn’t make a Loli character, the made a CHILD character. I don’t think they wanted to do any loli content, just added a plot twist so the main character could have other partners. As someone else said, the writer tries to be realistic (sort of, because it’s still an adult game with a harem, which is not realistic in the first place, but you know what I mean). So would adult Dynae be ok to be his girlfriend and just let him cheat on her with all the girls you find? It makes no sense. Also, the fact that the main female character turns into a kid and it seems that there’s no way back makes me think that there has to be a way to be together again, and that will be epic!!
I’m 100% sure that they’re not going to do any patch for loli content, they don’t allow loli in their discord server and I really really doubt that they would do that.
Nowadays with patreon or indie games you can see the development through the years and it seems that they’re forgetting about important things, but if you didn’t see all the development and got the final product, you would just read the story, play from start to finish and understand everything. While now you have to wait, because developing a game takes time.

I removed that part of my post because it was a bit awkward to read. Anyways, among porn games, Taifun tends to be "realistic" and try to cover all plot holes.

In this game, the writer deals with Nulkan's guilt for sleeping with new women after his wife died, and also came up with a clever excuse that allows him to "cheat" on Dynae, and only does so after Dynae's permission. Many harem games are lazily written, and pretend all women are sluts so they don't care if you cheat on them (and it also turns them on for some reason).

The side Character harem ending was the MC and his Girlfriend agreeing to take it easy, travel and have an open relationship with anyone they meet and like to be with... no commitment to their former relationship or mission.
