Based on what I could gather from looking at them, they're stronger variants of another type of enemy. I think there's only one so far that has an upgraded variant...?

It came to me naturally when I saw the post. You could say I was enlightened.
Dev posted new stuff.
Sadly no playable version.
1) More idle animations for Akaren (the name of the MC).
2) Revamped the first stage maps to be less linear. (Read more on the link)
3) Behind the paywall, it's a WIP animation of an unnamed character appearance. Most likely it's her Kunoichi form taking off her hood.
If I were to take a guess what comes after this update,
It's likely more variety of butt scrolls she can use.
And possibly attempting to revamp the Prison map.

They wrote in previous update that they're focusing on CG and story now so it was easy to predict. Still kinda disappointing.

But hey, fingers crossed for this project not to die and eventually see the daylight. It sure looks like a piece of quality, doesn't it?
I hope I don't jinx it but I just don't see how this'll die, I think it'll just take a really long time, the sheer effort and quality in the art and animation is honestly insane
