Some people have been trying to see how quickly they can defeat the boss in Level 4, but I haven't seen anyone else try to speedrun any other parts of the game.

I started to complete the game with some rules, such as not defeating any enemies and finishing quickly, just for fun. Then I asked if anyone else was speedrunning the game too, just for curiosity
