For those getting pissy at people being apprehensive over the developments relatively slow progression, take in mind that they are on guard with this game specially because the original was one of the largest examples of a game going into Patreon milking stagnation.
Back when the OG was being developed, early development was slow but decent, to then fall of a cliff with barely any updates when it seemed like the only person that knew how to code left the team. All while they kept pretending all way fine and they were working on larger updates in the background, still only releasing ever increasingly broken updates with barely any content (again, because it was obvious the person that knew how to code that game wasn't part of the picture anymore).
So, yeah, people seeing not all that much progress in development of this game, even though the developer is relatively open about his circumstances and slow pace, is normal and valid in the context of Simbro.
