any ideas why free mode is still locked after completing the game? Grabbed a save from here that had all but last orb (yellow), done that dungeon, came back, last mission launched, finished, got the splash screen I finished the story, saved it to all 3 slots, back to menu, free mode is still locked.

Can't seem to unlock it in new version, just grab the 0.0.5a version and it works straight away without any save bs:

Okay, so, I got the green pendant, I collected all 5 orbs, got a new magic-imbued pendant, completed orphelia dialogue.
Went back to fight the boss, and.. no differences.
No alternative ending?
No bonus stats, nothing, no saving the raven, no new dialogue, niet, nada, nisht.
so, here's my question:
What in the living sin spire does the magic pendant actually do?
Am I missing something?

its a bug. the only way is to load a save before you fight the devil or the boss guy and finishing again. then it gets unlocked. you have to do this every time you start the game. if you saved the game after finishing it and have no other save you have to play the whole game again

Goddamn does the screamer(3rd level) annoy me to all hell.. I think the game is waaaaay too grindy as well... And I'm playing on easy... I mean, doing 4 runs of a dungeon? What's the point? Nothing new there, just grind... Maybe, at least on easy, make all dungeons have 1 run and that's it.

Obviously this is just an opinion, but this is, at its core, a great game, and I'd hate for it to get lambasted because of this kind of irksome design(I can already see the negative steam reviews complaining about this stuff...)

Is there an easy grind for money in the game? Any dungeon in particular is too difficult to pass the bosses with low stats, especially the really late ones.
BTW I don't want to cheat with the cheat engine tbh so if there is another way to level up fast I would appreciate the tip

The 2nd dungeon it's the easier after you beat the boss, you can sneak behind the monsters fairly easy, invest in strength and you'll be able to one sneak-shot everything. Loot all the rooms and chests, and if you want to rush it, you don't even need to purify although purifying is a great source of gold

I remember playing this game back then, the grind is insane and there's a massive lag when you goes outside the tower. Hopefully, these problem can be fixed (esp the grinds) when it goes into full release... one day, maybe?
