We've stopped encountering the monster from the beginning? Has the developer finally finished resting?
Finished the game, absolute cinema! (E: I wanted to give 5 stars but for some reason clicking the top right starts does not work)

Yes, no matter what I do, it still happens to me. I even set everything to the minimum and I could only reach the monster that appears at the beginning.

so how scary is it really? bc this game plays damn near perfect in UEVR from what I can tell except all I've had the balls to do is run around the safe area and fuck the cute shopkeeper in someone's save file

The beginner/tutorial part where you have to resort to hiding is really the only scary part. Otherwise for the most part of the game there's no jump scares or hidden spooky things, just random undead in a dark room that you can go kill.
There's exceptions to this. The first being your sanity meter, where if you have below half sanity there's like a 10% chance when you open up your map there will be a see-through jump scare (you gain sanity any time you fug an enemy, and sanity pills are also very abundant). Running out of sanity also has a jump scare, but it took me a deliberate attempt of running around outside the tower without sanity until it finally happened. You also die. The first level is an issue due to a lack of resources, not spookiness.
The other exception is when you're running around farming for gold at the second level and a floating head somehow catches you off guard and headbutts you, and you have to put your dick in its mouth to purify it.
