I hate to sound like a scrub, but, I've never tried to move a save file from a previous version of the game, to the updated. Is the file from a previous version compatible for further updates? :confused:
I wouldn't mind reliving the game, but I put so much time into the first version, and kind of don't wanna lose that progress.
Saves are compatible

I've played more than a few hours into the game and I came up with a few ideas.
Your actions make a difference
I understand procedural generation is the whole genre, but what do you think about a permanent resource management?
one way to clear each map would be to fuck every monster; say there are 100 monsters, so 20 spawn in each map. if you fuck ten then there'll be 90 left so next map spawns 18. A way perverts can win by fucking the world to death
How about limited weapons and ammo? For melee weapons it'd force players to commit to moving forward or taking the time and energy to purify every monster they kill. Finite ammo means you can't just spray and pray, even when you have firepower you'll still need to use it wisely.
I understand the whole infinite money to buy infinite equipment but how about stats act as experience instead? You gain more health the more you're hit, more stamina the more you run, rename lust to libido and increase it by fucking, etc.
Differences in monsters
She butcher is already a damage sponge but you could have her call out to others when she's alerted and have her drop her weapon or health-restoring meat or something to balance her. Since you have a sack on her head you could make red spots on the ears to show she's deaf to remove sound-based detection.
Miss eye-in-mouth has only one eye, that could be an excuse to mess with depth perception, especially in melee combat.
twin-pair-legs has no eyes or ears so that means no sight or sound detection. You could give her a proximity awareness with the player character's footsteps.
Different sex positions for where you face the monster would give a nice variety especially if you're going to reuse monsters for different areas, there are for the weeping angel statues.
Punish rushing players
If you want to be an asshole you can also add spike traps inside chests to punish people who open chests as they're running away
give a reason to 100% every map, some reason to not just stock up on injections then run from entrance to exit, especially since obsidion keys can be bought for cheap. Maybe a counter of rooms explored that could give new dialogue and bonuses to Savina.
Sanity
Maybe not implemented yet but you could play with enemy shadows and the sanity meter.
You could take the Bloodborne route and completely overhaul the sanity mechanic, adding potions that reduce sanity and having invisible enemies, traps, or chests that only appear at a certain sanity level

But short story, the developer had some trouble in the final few days before release. So he has 1 placeholder animation for all the new enemies, except for bosses.
I'm confident I read him mentioning giving them all an animation of their own in the next update or so.
Oh, yeah. I saw that on his twitter account. Something about translations troubles. Figures that people are mad a pre-pre-pre-release version of a game isn't a full version AND free of course. Ah, gooner entitlement.

Just discovered this game yesterday. Stealth and sneaking isnt actually a viable way to play this game? Because enemies in the first dungeon spot you even before you see them. Anyone with more experience with this, are we just supposed to run through the level ?

Mostly not, sometimes you can sneak kill monsters but not with starter gear/levels, especially in the first dungeon there is no way to sneak past monsters as the corridors are tight and a lot of times monster are just standing there staring at the doorway you have to go trough. Add in the timer that starts as the first enemy sees you...
Later dungeons are more open but by that time the game is more about leveling your speed and sprinting from chest to chest towards the exit as fast as possible ignoring enemies.

i really wish the devs would move the map generation to when you enter the actual door to the dungeon instead of the portal so we don't have to wait just to enter the boss room :confused:

Not gonna lie.

Game tilted me so fucking bad. I was irk on the Japanese school zone.

But what really pissed me off was Lust zone. Got to 9th floor, no obsidian key on that floor to progress to next floor. Had to backtrack and leave, then I took my money and just spent it all on Obsidian keys.

Tf you mean dude. There's literally an option to "go straight to the boss room" when you enter after collecting and putting the orbs in the door, so that wouldn't be an issue.

They meant the loading screen when entering portals. They don't want loading screens when entering the save rooms of dungeons.

But yes that is just a few seconds of loading, how many times do you go in and out of it repeatedly for it to be an issue
