Dunno, why people said the game is "unplayable" with current balance. Pretty comfortable running around with plenty of resources and stuff to pick and kill.

On other side, there is plenty of questions to raise. The need of money, when you doing only banter. Mechanics that was implemented, but not used. Presence of a tutorial, it's non-existence I mean. Bugged quests and it's triggers and some more.

While roaming inside the game is fun, the lack of understanding is a heavy minus. For sure feels that the inspiration from EFT was there, especially with how much knowledge you need to get into it. But that makes the game a bit niche, which is bad for development.

As side note, would be cool to have a sub-menu or simply additional window with character statistics.
We are getting quite closer on starting to finalize content and tying the lose ends. A lot of the prior updates were mainly focused on putting in mechanics as set pieces which are gonna be tied up together. Just now we were talking extensively about what currencies we will have in the game.

Character statistics panel(as like level 10, str 10, attk this, etc) doesn't really make sense to make as there are no complicated calculatable stats(beside maybe armor). So for now no, but in future it might become required. As for player statistics(ghouls killed, time spent, etcs), it's needs tracking which is not essential as well for now.

Speaking about the lack of understanding... It is not intended or not strictly intended. The game is very much meant to be alike Fear and hunger rather than EFT, So everything is learnable via just playing and with right knowledge can triviliase the encounter. But I fear it's gonna be have to dialed down as meaningfully hard games are hard to make and dying+reload is not as snappy and comfortable as it is in fear and hunger.

Personally, i'm a person of numbers, so it's just convenient for myself. To see armor overall value, attack value, some probabilities and so on. I didn't intend it sound like i rush you into anything. It was just a suggestion that i would love to see to be implemented later or even later.

As overall, my comment was more how i feel about the game in current state. I perfectly understand that there is much going on behind and in dev corner, just honest opinion to have something to look at. In additional even as myself i would do the same way, firstly implemented mechanics then polish it and adding solid content, it's a norm for dev side.

Ah, about a tutorial. IMO again, but adding for example a couple of pictures with simple instruction would make a much more easier entry for most of the people. Which will not be against the game setting about "learning on the way", but will give player a bit of based knowledge. Maybe it will be a crude example, but it's almost the same as you need to learn how to drive, before actually driving right? Same here, the lack of understanding which button is for and what you can actually do in some cases, is what give me a feeling how the game lacks a tutorial.

And it becomes a bit lengthy, but oh well. I don't want to impose any of my feeling or views on you as a dev. It's your game and you doing it your way and how you want. All my words and pure suggestion that comes from personal opinion.

Just tried my first 2 hours with it, games really good just some minor spelling mistakes. Is there a list of planned content that's coming?

I am glad you liked it, you can leave a positive review if you want(the game's rating is a bit in shambles right now.)

I was making a post of what's coming in the next patch(which comes out every two weeks) but at some point but I decided not to. Mainly because the schedule is too tight and something might not get into the game, or something completely different added. So I just decided not to do them for now.

As for what is planned is complete overhauling of every location one by one, first being Hutori(The Widow camp part will be more peaceful and more empty "travel hub" location and the village part will be expanded separate location). All the others will be getting remastered slowly one by one.
Second thing will be currency(there will be three different ones) and player progression which are gonna be somewhere alongside the changes to Hutori. Some of them earlier than the others.
All that in the next 2 patches(a patch comes every two week I remind you). That's only what I will do, there is also a second person on the team without assigned tasks yet.

Is there a workaround for the shelter's storage constantly resetting and deleting anything I put inside?

EDIT: I updated to 16.1 and my whole inventory disappeared, while some armor plates appeared in my pouch slots (and I can't take them out).
The game has a cool concept and lots of potential, but I'm gonna wait until it hits v. 35 to try it again (so the dev has all the time to work out the kinks). I really enjoy survival games but I'm a gatherer, so seeing my stuff disappear really ticks me off.

That's a very recent bug, I think I will patch it out in the few next days.

Thanks for the answer. As I said, the game looks promising. I'll wait for the storage patch and then I'll give it another try.

Fellow survivors, is there a way to increase the storage capability of the shelter? I'm a bit of a hoarder and I already have my bags full. Also, can I sell stuff for money or do I have to barter everything?

is it possible to play through a browser? English is simply not my native language. and through a browser you can use a page translator, it may not display correctly, I understand that, but is it possible to run it like that?
