Huh, AI art is a lot different from most, what site did you use?
I run a local model called anything diffusion. Also the output is heavily reliant on the prompt.
I haven't renamed most of the generated pics, so you can probably check the prompt used for the pics by looking into the gamefiles as well as the unused pics.
Also the quality of images will increase overtime, as well as they might get replaced by the proper art.

Cool, I actually like this style of AI art, maybe because its a lot less...shiny?

This game is heavily inspired by such games as Pathologic, Fear and Hunger and EFT.
What's EFT? You got my attention piqued with the first two. Like mention of those and screenshots with such basic UI (I like basic "bleh" UI and presentation, usually those have actually interesting mechanics) got my attention.

Escape for tarkov... It is the most obvious inspiration, but It more solidified my view in the survival genre, than dictated it. In other words: LOOTPORN.

You probably should also mention there are some prerequisites. Looking it up stuff like npm (command from batch file) needs node.js. Didn't really feel like installing stuff to run an HTML game (even if it's a general utility thing).

Just letting you know, the instructions on installation aren't 100% accurate.

That's my crutches to run an engine-less html game outside webstorm. You haven't run the batch file? My friend couldn't run it for some reason, and now he has a different bug which makes the console empty or smth...

You could look into shipping the node_modules and finding a way to have be packaged into a single js file. So node wont have to be used to start it.

No that's what I mean. The batch file uses a command that the command prompt doesn't know because it uses node.js or something.

Oh my. I have a crippling addiction to lootporn. And complicated games. Practically have to give it a try.

Those game inspirations though, well. This looks like it may be painful.

The most likely cause for not being able to run a batch file is some form of antivirus or firewall preventing it. After all, it's one of the ways scammers and hackers steal things, so it's going to be high on the list of no-no's.

Updated the game with a hotfix. Now the node.js is included in the game folder and .bat file start it locally. Thus npm is no longer required to play the game and the game now is actually playable.
