but nobody remembered them. I've yet to see a compelling argument that doesn't boil down to emotional fear. I personally don't fear change, I embrace it.

I'm gonna make it very clear for any future skeptics or straight up irrational luddites: This is my novel and I do whatever the fuck I want with it. I'm making my own HUMAN made art and enhancing MY static renders with new powerful technology to give them more life. This way I can have way more animations than I usually do, with physics I could never achieve, even if I will still make some myself now and then because I have more control in my 3d program. I'm still a person behind this project, with my own renders and my own unique art.

If that hurts your ego because some random youtuber influencer that knows nothing about machine learning told you outdated misinformation about the technology that will power all future entertainment soon, then I couldn't care less. If your emotions override your sense of critical thinking, this discussion isn't for you.

I love AI, I've been using it for years personally, and more recently for Sinful Summer for the soundtrack with Suno and now with some recent video models to make some new alternative animations. I love how gen AI allows everyone to create whatever the fuck they want (gooners should extra love this!) and it's even better if you are already an artist and it just elevates your work, like in my case. It's about time art stop being gatekept. Adapt or get left behind.

I normally don't love AI art but as long as it doesn't totally replace the actual work and the final result looks good, I'm all for it. It can be used as a tool to do something you couldn't do yourself or to make something easier that you found difficult. AI animations are a good example of this and can be a great idea IMO. The important thing is that it's not 100% AI because that feels soulless and pointless, flat and uninteresting. I'm totally fine with AI being used to take static images and make them move like has been shown here. There are lots of valid criticisms of AI, but the kneejerk "all AI bad no matter what in all circumstances" is dumb.

Exactly. It's still my characters, my usual unique style etc. Its not like I'm suddenly changing everything to become some generic AI generated stuff.

I haven't played this game yet, so I'm reserving judgement, but I applaud the developer for at least trying out something new. You never know if you don't try.

Imagine if no one had bothered with photography, because the technology wasn't that great yet.

This is one of the rare great games on here that actually updates consistently. Usually 2-3 months in between updates. Given how fast they come out they feel substantial and personally I'm never disappointed by their size. I believe this year the dev took a few months off working on this game but other than that it has been extremely consistent. No waiting 10-14 months for a disappointing update, no bullshit.

More like using lazily. It's reasonable to doubt a risky change because of it's controversy: the technology allows for everyone who has access to an Internet, without requiring any proper skills for that, to create anything they desire - truly a curse and a blessing of modern technology.
And therefore everyone has ability to make and compete on the market with as little effort as possible, sometimes gaining even more revenue than hard working developers, building their project from scratch. Taking their bread.
But I have my trust in this project, as it's creator is shown many times to be highly invested in success of his game. And if it requires to add a little sprinkle of AI to gain the proper animation effect, I believe in it.

The current animations are very good; in Lina's Reverse Cowgirl, the physics of her butt bounce look great, but I'm not opposed to the idea of AI either; in fact, they could be better in terms of physics.

The dev and most of their audience prefere it the way it is and making two versions of the game, one with shaved and one with non-shaved characters, is not a good time investment dev-wise. I'd rather they just use all their time and energy on releasing more of the story instead.

I love with south korean tv series, and japanies and chinese tv series...and there is a lot of yelow blonde characters...
...that's why I had the idea that everyone is yellow blonde.
