I'm seeing the feedback on the AI animations, and so far it's all negative. And based on that, it could become trendy to dislike it even if some of us don't mind it and really like it. So I'll add my voice to the mix and hope everyone gives their honest opinion, and not care what a bunch of wankers(literally, myself included ) think of you.

I wish more games would include AI animations like these. I've not gone much into the newer VNs, but lemme tell you one of my first VNs was Being a Dik that I bought on steam like a complete amateur. And the animations in that were very... repetitive. Like in/out and up/down on loop. Same thing with most games I played since. But if there's something that helps create clips where hands roam all around the area randomly and naturally with realistic enough physics, it makes the animations far more stimulating than the standard 1 second render played on a loop. Like yeah, it's obvious at first look that it's ai, but I think it's still better than tiny animations on a loop.

Obviously there are games where those tiny animations look good because they're edited well, but the slightly random movement makes it more immersive in a way.

I personally love it, though I know I'll get a lot of disagreement. But that's fine lol

I said it in the changelog, yes. I reworked my code a bit and they broke. Just use the chapter selection from the menu to go straight to the part you want. There's also an official "unlock all" button in the scene gallery.

I dont fuck with AI cause of professional reasons, specially when we talk about huge companies that are more than able to hire people. But dude is alone in this, its not like he could hire someone to make the anims for the game. And in the end of the day, its porn... This aint gonna make it less hot lol

Not sure about the new face of Helgs. I get why you decided to tinker with it - she used to look like an older version of her daughter, so she looks more distinct now - but at the same time she was portrayed as a sophisticated, highly educated lady with good taste, so her new bimbofied face is at odds with that persona. While not the biggest of complaints, I found the change immediately jarring. Now she has the face of someone who one could actually suspect of fucking her own son, so maybe the change is meta, and it's actually peak visual story telling

Yeah she is peak predator now lmao.

Personally I just think the new face has some unflattering angles (at least to me). In others she looks amazing.

In my discord it's all positive and my paid subs love it, so...

I'll gladly read all the feedback here too, but I won't change a thing if I don't feel like it, just like I never compromised on my original vision of the story with shy Erik, lesbian scenes, uncensored incest, lack of choices... All still there, even if some loud haters were mad as hell. This is my project, and while I do appreciate constructive feedback, I still do what I want and what I love. Even if people start being more loud and vocal about this in particular, I still won't care. I love using new and better tech to make my depraved fantasies more real.

I hate dream scenes with a passion. Has 0 weight and just spoils the events that eventually come, so they feel lackluster.

For chapter 3.1 it leaked here a while ago. I just released chapter 3.4 normal and android here for free after the early access, but for the most up to date superHD you'll have to subscribe

"Female domination" tag tells the whole story on this one. If you asked me which was more important in an adult game - female agency or male agency - I'd tell you that's a trick question and that both are critical. The male character just isn't pulling enough weight here. I get that works for some people, but for me, it also ends up diminishing the female characters.

It probably gets better if you keep going. Dev is clearly a talented writer and Erik is probably going on quite a journey. But in my opinion, if you set the starting point too far back, I'm left feeling like I don't want to go on that journey with them.

i can't remember what VN it was where a lil fairy gives us powers or summin. It had a pretty neat fantasise mechanic where you could see them naked much like here. But I dropped that game cos of absence of taboo talk and too much mind-control thinganamies. Hate mind control

This is a wild take. Do you think an AI made my entire update or what? We're not there yet.
For your information, I still spend hundreds of hours rendering each update. Writing, sound, programming... takes me like a few days tops. But on the other hand, I spend entire weeks and 8-10 hours a day, crafting the images alone, trying to make the scenes even more beautiful and erotic than previous updates all the time. Nothing was lost in that regard. This is still a passion project.

As for proper animations, they are a full time job task and my software lacks features of newer programs like soft body physics. Now I'm simply making my life easier and animating static renders that I would have never animated before. I'm still doing some animations in my program, like the blowjob ones which were not AI this update. However, I could have never made all the kissing or groping ones with this quality in a million years using the same software. I don't see what's "artificial" about AI, it should be called "augmented intelligence" because it's improving me and giving me superpowers as a solo dev.

Not telling you to reconsider, but your point of view makes no sense to me because Sinful Summer still has my "soul" (whatever that means to spiritual people) and it's still my renders and my unique art. It's not like I show you the hours working behind the scenes, so I don't see why, hypothetically, me spending thousands of hours learning Blender to make better non-AI animations would make a difference if I hadn't tell anyone. That would just lead to burnout and an abandoned project actually... I don't have a team to work on this, it's just me.

I'd rather tell you proudly and show you what the new tech is capable of if you use it right, instead of hiding it like a coward or not use it at all and get stuck with caveman tech because some skeptics will get mad. I think people should just appreciate the final product without their biases, it's not that hard.

This is what AI should be used for. Just like any other new tool, it should make the work easier. This is not theft, like stealing others copyrighted works and using them in AI datasets. This is merely enhancing the original work of an artist, by that same artist, and taking it to another level with a new tool. Good on you for finding ways to streamline your workload. This is exactly how AI should be used ethically.

Sidenote, it would be funny if your game was using AI Shujo, then it would be fully AI... Keep up the good work!

But I think a lot of issues people have with shy Eric is that they cant help but self insert. Maybe trying to remain as an observer of a pervert family would be better for you?

This game is a very rare case of how to properly do an incest game. As someone who enjoys this since the very early versions, it's always refreshing to see when a dev does not self-censor himself (with "landladies" and all that other bullshit) chasing the elusive "mainstream" platforms and puts out quality updates regularly instead of milking and drip feeding them.
Like I said in an earlier post, keep it up dev. You deserve all the success you got.
