Hmmm. The version I got off of here wasn't modded and had the sex scenes with Justin and Lilith, Justin with another chick. Abby and Lilith lez and frank and Lilith sex dreams.
The modded version of the short story allows players to skip the Justin sex scenes. I don't know of any other version.

It's not even because she is "my girl" we already knew she had a boyfriend that really doesn't bother me. It's more the fact that the dude is a fucking asshole and knowing what he ends up doing to her makes me not want to see any sex scenes that involves him and lilith.

Well, to be fair to Justin, at the start of their relationship he seems like a pretty good guy, including defending Lilly from her previous boyfriend just after they met. He becomes an asshole later on with the cheating (which may have been partly because he felt neglected with Lilly spending so much time with Abby, but that is by no means an excuse) and especially talking trash about Lilly while doing that (where he seems to be egged on by Christine, but again that is no excuse).

I mean even if he appears to be nice at first we know what he ends up doing, and as you said even if he felt neglected that isn't an excuse, he knew that lillith was helping her sister who was going through some shit at the time. Instead of talking to her about the situation he starts cheating on her. I don't see the appeal of seeing a character like that having sex with one of the main girls.
All this talk about the side story and as someone who can't stand Lily I am just hoping we can tell her to fuck off... Probably not, I am sure that the Dev has it required that Frank fuck the three mains, no choice at all in that only get to make a choice with the side pieces. Give me Becca and Mieko and I am good. Abby is too weird looking and Lily is not worth the aggravation for me. Shit, give me the judge's daughter again before Lily.

She isn't the most likeable character for sure. The way she acts towards the mc for most of the game can be pretty annoying.
Yep! I don't particularly like that she takes every opportunity to accuse the MC of being a disgusting pervert, molester, and (probably after the open of 12) rapist. Not going to suddenly warm up to someone just because she went through a break up recently.
But then my problem with this game has always been that the player doesn't really have any say in how the story goes. Frank will act like a complete sub to Becca, he will continue to complain about how he doesn't think about "his children" in a sexual manner despite having vivid sex dreams about them, and he will be dragged kicking and screaming into having sex with each of them with no input from the player. It fails to allow the player to pick and choose the people that appeal to them and requires that they pursue all of them. I like the story, I like Abby's personality, Becca's looks and teasing, but I would just like to be able to choose a platonic relationship with Lily. Not going to happen at all.

agreed. i didn't finish this once rebecca's weird plotting came to light because by that point it demonstrated two common but obnoxious tropes in these games: the mc as a spineless milquetoast (rebecca and abby walking all over him) and the (seeming) inability to pick and choose relationships, the latter being (to my mind) crucially important to choose-your-own adventure porn games. rare has been the game on here that has, for me, gotten away with no impactful choices, usually only succeeding via comedy. hiding behind the term novel is a cop-out, i feel. go write a book, these are games. i do like the quality of visuals and (overall) writing and i do plan to revisit it sometime once i've forgotten enough about it to reform my opinion with another playthrough but it only left me feeling mildly frustrated, enough that i didn't finish the current content.
Yeah, it’s just frustrating as I understand that Frank is reluctant yet it is tiring to read his same inner dialogue when he is enjoying a blowjob from one of his “daughters “. He needs to embrace his desires and stop with the “no, no, I shouldn’t! This is wrong!” It feels like he’s going to be thinking the same damn thoughts as he’s in the middle of fucking one of them. Just wears thin when you also know he’s having sex dreams about them, nearly constant sex dreams.
One of the basic features I expect from these games is the ability to choose who the MC pursues, doesn’t matter how well made the game is, if I can’t do that the game will never be better than a 3/5 star game.

Based on what was revealed in the side story and what we already saw in the main story, there is no way Lilly will be as annoying a character as she was. As the main story explained, she was an uber-bitch to Frank because she loved her bio-dad and didn't want Frank to replace him. She had built up an image of her bio-dad as a great guy as a reaction to his leaving desperately hoping he would come back to her. His leaving also caused her not to want to get close to Frank or her boyfriends because she couldn't take another Daddy abandoning her. When Frank revealed that it was bio-dad who her mother was cheating with, it broke her. Not only did her real daddy leave her, when he came back, he didn't even see her or let her know he was back and he broke up her relationship with Abby. She is now realizing that Frank is the father and the "daddy" she has always wanted but never got from her bio-dad or boyfriends. She will never be as forward as Becca, but I think her character will change in a way that her haters will like.
She reminds me of Ashley in Harem Hotel. I hated that character. I wanted to be able to remove her from the hotel. Then we learned why she was the way she was, and how she got so broken. We also see her work to improve herself and stop doing all the things that made her so annoying. I actually ended up liking her quite a bit. The author of Single Again tells a very good story so far and I think has set up a good path to change Lilith for the better in future stories.
Eh, I can completely understand her arc and still want nothing to do with her. It's the whole tsundere character thing, I don't like characters who abuse someone and then it is revealed they've always actually liked the person they bullied/abused/humiliated/tormented. I've never liked the whole idea that the boy who pulled the girl's pigtails at school was actually in love with her. I have no problem with being nice to someone who stops being such a POS but that doesn't mean I want to fuck her.

Yep... Living in this garbage can does make me crazy! Just find tsundere characters and people like that irl to be too exhausting. Only so much time and energy in my green fuzzy body and I don't want to waste it on them.
