Just finished the update after replaying most of the whole game to get the full impact of the rework.
still bitter that the dev caved and changed the story. having Abby and Lilly grow as a couple and both learning to share MC and each other could have been much more interesting, especially because they are huge daddy's girls. though it might have felt too similar to Beth and Nessa, it would still be better than the current statu quo. like that whole evening is now a non-event without anything really moving forward except for Mei's kink official reveal.
at least having
the donor path moving was something and a small surprise in Abby's reckless request to MC.
if MC is not chosen and they pick Nessa's brothers, would Beth use the old fashion insemination method too ? 
probably not, so that might be why she pushed for MC that much if she's stuck with a lifetime boulder, might as well make the 5 minutes preceding it as enjoyable as possible.

for the Becca&Lilly threesome path were good, though the actual threesome path felt a bit forced and sudden there compared to everything else in the game.

, though, seems to be set up to be a new potential candidate for the DPG. maybe to measure the cult-like setup of the initiation from the point of view of someone outside the family ?
It seems like she has an incest issue too. the guy she likes could be her brother, and it seems he might also has the same issue. But now that she has Magic Dick Syndrome, she might not be able to be with anyone ever
Discussing Lilly
's therapy was interesting.
It felt as if there was a potential for the reason why her bio-father left was on the brink of being revealed. If I had to bet it would be finding out that Becca is not his daughter or not being able to deal with it during the marriage.

Beth pregnancy path and got the confirmation that they have picked Frank as shown here:

As I understand it, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, that decision hasn't been made yet. Beth wants the mc to be their doner/father/whatever IF they decide they want to go down the parenthood path, presumably in a future update.

you have to always say yes when she asks for sex. and you also have to say you lean towards being their donor. you might have missed one of the sex scene during a dinner at their place where you walked Lilly back home instead of staying.

honestly, all the main LIs are the daughters, and they all are forced, even Mei that was really not a daughter and could have been a side girl with a choice.
the only choices are the side girls, Beth, Darla, Madison and Tanya for now.
so it shouldn't even be a question that Abby will join the DPG. especially when she founds out that it exists and what it is. just out of pure jealousy and FOMO, she will want to join.
and MC constantly saying no, doesn't mean anything. or you can say it actually means that it will happen. he kept saying no for Becca and Lilly too. His mind is already saying yes in his dreams, and he said he is in love with her to himself, and to Jess.
the big issue, though, is Patreon. right now, if Abby happens, the game patreon account will be banned. until now, it was walking a rather thing line just because MC and Shannon were divorced before Becca and Lilly happened. but there is no grey area for Abby. She is MC's daughter by law. MC is on her birth certificate. Being adopted doesn't change that. I don't think they can get the adoption cancelled either.
and the dev seems to prepare for that as they are making another game to stay on patreon and move the main game on to subcribestar only. with so much efforts to keep the support for the game, you already know the outcome for Abby.
I just read the changelog and...okay. Looks like I missed something juicy.
I'm a few updates behind. What exactly happened that got everyone so upset?
Feel free to go heavy with the spoilers(and spoiler tags if necessary)
the first version had MC talking with Abby and making her realize her true feelings for Lilly. She then decided to immediately tell Lilly and asks her to be girlfriends. Lilly is ecstatic at first. they have sex in the bathroom. very loudly. the fort movie night happens too. and the next morning, Lilly comes for sex with MC like this version, but it was to be their very last sex ever. farewell sex, where she says she will be faithful to Abby after that and has to break up with MC. Very emotional scene. MC finds a loophole to convince her to continue their relationship (forgot the actual argument, but it was an interesting play). Lilly agrees and is drowned in happiness and pleasure, realizing that it is what she really wants. So it sets up the potential beginning to Lilly working on Abby and push her towards MC, even though he still fights it. but 2v1, he wouldn't have any chance
so potential threesome too.
Abby not accepting the label and not accepting her feelings is a huge back step, though. pretty much everyone, from the characters to the players, even the dev
, agrees that they are girlfriends in essence, except for the hidden sharing. it's only Abby that resists it.
Are they still in the holding pattern that they were in before. Where things aren't really moving forward and that every update seem like nothing much is happening?
every update has things moving forward. sometimes it's subtle and nuanced steps, and other times it's meteoric impact steps
maybe you don't feel things are moving because it's not the parts that you want.
I think that depends on what you define as progress. Personally, I would argue that the fact that Frank talks to Vanessa about assuming that Shannon and him only got together because Shannon knew she could get under Jess' skin this way after the X vs 1 clique situation failed spectacularly. And let's all be honest, all flashbacks are biased because our narrator is Frank, but from what we've seen of her in the present and the emotional damage (see Lilly and Becca's side stories) she's left on her daughters it wouldn't be surprising. At least for me it wouldn't be much of a surprise right now.
Beth choosing Frank as a donor (or not) is also something that is somewhat relevant. Not a big deal, but still.
Then there's the Lilly situation. She's made huge leaps since day one in the plot in terms of her character development and now trusts Frank, but I find it quite understandable that she still has issues with sharing Frank, as she's had to fight for pretty much everything for most of her life without ever really getting recognition or validation (at most from Abby, I doubt she would have heeded positive feedback from Frank back then). Accordingly, she is still a long way away from consciously sharing Abby (with Frank). And the idea of Abby being shared with Becca, I don't think I need to go into how far away she is from that.
100%. tons of progress, especially this update. just not with Abby and Lilly.
if we choose to talk about
Lilly's father instead of her mother with Vanessa, we get a glimpse on the reason why he left. and we could extrapolate that to anything, but I'm thinking it's because of Becca not being his real daughter. either he didn't know and found out, or he knew and couldn't deal with it over time, or he knew but Shannon didn't want to talk about it and say who the father is...
I also found the scene
with Lilly discussing her true feelings about sharing to be much more interesting than the one for setting up the threesome. giving her that much more depth instead of just sticking to the surface slut.
Though I would have liked to see
MC discussing what happened with Becca. in one path, I bet she would appreciate and support the change in her sister, and in the other path she would be shocked to learn what Lilly did, and for both she would be very excited for what is to come with MC and Lilly.
Then again, what else can you expect from a story about the world's worst real estate agent?
What I would like to see that might help pacing a bit, instead of an either/or for a trip to the cabin or the trip to the tropical resort... do both. There is still time before the resort trip that you aren't paying a dime for, so take a long weekend trip up to the cabin and see what it's like. See if you want to keep it or sell it. Hell, it's probably big enough to be able to move the whole family in, and not cram everyone into a couple of studio apartments.
for real, MC only has one client a month at most, and doesn't actively try to get more
200% agree that they should have gone to both locations. making it a choice doesn't make sense because both are available anytime for whatever duration they choose, and the cabin is just a drive away and the fly to the resort wouldn't last any longer either. it being two weeks, they could have done one week each too. or postpone the home ec classes.
also use both vacations to make content for social media for MC's company.
the renders will be done, so it's a shame players can only see half of them on each path.
Also having to choose Beth vs Mei is BS.
The ending of this update is the same as the previous version, so nothing has been added.

Beth stated that it is small, only 2 bedrooms. Its been modernized and has something special in the basement (guessing indoor pool and/or sauna, I bet I know which set will be used for it if I'm right) but it is definitely not big enough to move everyone in to.
I was thinking that the basement could also be a special space, and that they could have brought camping mattresses to put in the basement to have more room.
but if the basement is that famous underground pool + sauna asset we get in every game, then it's not possible
and speaking of overused assets, we already know a "modernized" cabin in the mountains/forest asset in tons of games too. so we can predict what it's like already.
I think I'm about to start the new content, just got through the rewritten previous release. Disappointed that the dev caved and completely removed Lily & Abby as a couple. I suppose doing so will prevent the complication of adding a new unplanned subroute or something, but of all things that really shoulda been a choice. I thought they were great together.
very disappointed too. and the dev wouldn't even need to do any subroute because everything for the main LIs has been forced, so he could just force their paths too.

that's up to the dev to decide. they should always tell the story they want to tell, and make the game they want to make.
the players' job is to play the game or not, enjoy the story or not, and provide feedback or not.
if a game has something you don't want or like, just don't play it. no one is forcing you. there are so many games now. you are bound to find something that checks tons (if not all) of items on your list.
I don't know if anyone else has had this issue but the walkthrough says there should be more content and the image files in the game folder supports that statemen but the game version ends before any of those actually take place in game
But other than feeling slightly cheated on content which could be a version error on my part its an amazing game and am eagerly awaiting the next update

I forgot about that, and that she was friends with that other family. But you do also have to realize that with Beth being from a wealthy family herself, what she considers a small home may have bedrooms large enough to be split into two or three smaller rooms that an average person would still call large. We won't know what is actually there until it's shown. There could also be other rooms Beth never noticed that could be converted to bedrooms. That's part of the reason why I think they should take a weekend trip to the cabin before they go to the resort island instead of an either/or vacation.
Beth is from the most wealthy family even, but she still has her feet on the ground. Being with Vanessa and having Mrs Lastoya's guidance, she is much closer to a normal person than the entitled heir she should have been. if she says it is small, then it most likely is. Beth even emphasizes the fact that it was built when houses were built small. to temper expectations for the characters and the players
also there are not that many "cabin in the mountains" assets available, so we already know which one we will get.
I suggest someone go look to see what Beth actually said, I believe it was to the effect of "its a classic tiny 2br shack that has been modernized." Don't get your hopes up for being very large. But I chose to go there because if you choose the resort instead, Mei chooses not to come along because she's afraid of flying.
I chose the resort for now, because there is still enough time to work on Mei and increase her confidence and reduce her fears enough to bring her with the family. Mei might get to a point where she loves MC far more than she fears flying, so having him there would be enough to calm her and she might not stand the fact that she would have to be apart from MC for that long (not mentioning her best friends /new family too).
It's fucked up that the devs make up choose between Mei and Beth for now, though.
