I've not seen any message but the image the dev uses in the 'When is the next update' part of his discord still reads June 20th. That's as of 22:45 BST so the usual caveats apply.I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but there is a message on Discord that the release of the next update will be delayed by another 7 days.
I hope it's just a fake, but who knows...

Random people saying it doesn't make that the case, though. I don't see anything on Discord from anyone official (the dev himself) about any delays, and nothing on either

Jesus people...it will come out and appear here when it does. It isn't life or death....
And four or five posts above that is the Dev themselves saying that the update will come today, so patience all, keep the faith and maybe stop asking if we're there yet. Otherwise they might turn the car around like a frustrated parent.

I'd like to see Lily and Meiko giving green light to Frank in the idea of making Beth a mother. Since Rebecca and Abby have already done that. But I suppose that'll happen in the future in another update or so.
I'm hoping for a big night with Abi. And I definitely wouldn't mind getting Beth pregnant

How well are the time skips and pacing handled in this one? Is he getting better at it than the, somewhat slapped together, sisterhood ceremonies?

Yes and no. The update starts on Friday evening and ends on Saturday morning.
More of his traditional style then. Not really worried about it now. The first dive into speeding up the timeline wasn't paced well, in my opinion.
