Meh, decent game if you have nothing else to play.

With just one change it would gain two more stars tho: Maybe not have the MC be written as the most insufferable, obnoxious, dimwitted idiot ever.

Not to mention how the author insists on the MC having a 2000 word inner monologue after every scene. Seriously, shut up! I was there, I know what happened two minutes ago, why the fuck are you telling me again?!

Definitely a story heavy game, so if you're after quick fap fodder, avoid. But, if you do enjoy stories, it's a must have. Ero scenes take a while to get going, but come very frequently once they do. The animation quality and models also improve dramatically as the story progresses. Definitely looking forward to more.

Rating less than 1 star isn't possible, if you like tragedy porn than go for it, but I don't. The author tried to portray mc as a nice guy but instead, he portrayed him as a miserable middle-aged man. On one hand you'll pity him on other you'll feel like you deserve it for being this stupid. Act like a floor mat and people will treat you as such

TLDR; It's decent, some sex scenes are great but takes a long time to get to that point and the MC is...insufferable at best. Read if you have nothing else to read, be prepared for painfully slow plot progression with way too much dialogue. Also NOT A QUICK FAP STORY

Story: It's alright, the dilemma the MC has is very realistic but his behavior becomes borderline intolerable as you continue to read. More on that later. The author is seemingly dragging on the story for some reason unbeknownst to me. There has been zero progression with one character for a very long time, other than small hints of her behavior changing. Other than that no complaints, better pacing would be nice though

Characters: No complaints except for the MC. The MC is a whiny nearly 40 year old. His thoughts and feelings at first are super understandable but his constant freakouts on the sisters are annoying. Not only that but the dilemma I referenced is his basis for legit every single whiny outburst he has. "She CAN'T be included in this!" to the same character at least 10 times before he realizes she understands. He proceeds to set his foot down that his adoptive daughter cannot be included but is perfectly okay with letting one of the BLOOD RELATED SISTERS tempt the other sexually. He makes zero sense and at times is a totally different character. To put it frankly, he blows as a protagonist and does nothing but drags the whole production down. In my personal opinion, he needs a rework but this far into development that's very unlikely.

Sex Scenes: Meh. All the build up at the beginning and most of the first few scenes were very vanilla with very little flair. Nothing wrong with that but the lack of variety and quantity of sex scenes really drags down the production too. It doesn't have to be a fuckfest but it could use a few more sex scenes and with this much development time, a few more fetishes would be nice to spice things up.

Art: Takes a bit to get used to and the differences in faces for say Vanessa and Abigail are certainly an artistic liberty. Overall no complaints

Sound: There's nothing. Nada. On something with nearly 4 years of development time, there's nothing. Normally I don't care but the lack of anything at all combined with a long read time made it extra monotonous at times

If the author reads this, please recognize I am not trying to destroy or drag down your work. You have a good basis here, it just needs work. Your MC is divisive as evidenced by the many complaints I've seen and my own complaints. The story is not moving. There's been almost zero real progress with Abigail in a very long time, since before Lilith was a part of the whole thing. Yeah she's the "main boss" for the whole thing but dragging out the story, continually having MC piss readers off due to his constant jumps in logic and back and forth with the moral dilemma that makes zero sense considering the facts at this point in said story. All of that is truly withholding this from being one of the hidden gems on the site/ in the scene.

Brutally painful to play. The rationale of the MC is completely illogical and contradictory. "I wont sleep with my step-daughter because shes like a daughter and thats like family, but you go ahead and have sex with your blood sister." The MC is a total cuck. This should absolutely have an NTR warning. I felt myself age, as the painfully slow and excessive storyline progressed,

The writing is generally pretty good but for crying out loud I wish that the MC wouldn't internally recap events every five minutes. I know what happened, I was there.

Also as much as I appreciate that the MC is torn over his / his daughters feelings, far too many words are spent establishing this. Ain't saying he should just flip a switch and get to fuckin' em quicker, but after a certain point I think the struggle is established enough that continually hammering on about it gets a bit grating. The MC is WAY too much of a neurotic little bitch.

Visually the game is fine. Going in I was hesitant about the girls having big ol' Battle Angel Alita style eyes, but after a while you don't really think of it. Honestly I hate the MCs face more. Thankfully you don't see it much, but if you've played enough of these games you've seen his weaselly ass mug 1000 times.

Audio? There is none at the time of writing and that's perfectly fine. I'd rather have no audio than audio I'm just going to mute anyway.

Edit: I initially rated it a 4 but the more I play the less I can tolerate the colossal, whining pussy that is the main character. Enough so that I feel the need to dock it a point and rescind my wholehearted recommendation. It's still a solid game and worth a gander. Maybe it'll be for you, it just wasn't for me. I just frickin' can't with this guy.

This game is a psychological horror of being a cuck where you wake up everyday, go to your home to watch your wife being fucked by an alpha male. After not being able to cope with it anymore your mind begins to make up defensive mechanism in the form of fairies that resemble an oversexualized version of your "daughters". They all want to bang you (and you as well even if you dont want to admit it).

Okay maybe what I described was the dream sequence and not the entire game. I will give you the good and the bad with the three most prevalent points. Then my opinion on the characters and how they fit in the story.

The good:

1. It's sort of a wholesome story where an everyday dad is trying his hardest to keep a connection with his step daughters after a brutal divorce.
2. You place yourself in the shoes of a man named Frank that wants nothing more than to make his loved ones happy.
3. This in turn makes them want to make you happy as well by giving you all they can give you.

The bad:

1. You are a weak submissive man that has no balls to stand up for himself and can't admit what he wants therefore your actions have little impact on the story.
2. This is being reinforced by the developer that basically guides you in a harem path you may or may not like.
3. You may dislike a character or two but you can never put them in their place / avoid them or even play favorites.

Characters+Story:

• Abigail is your daughter in the story she is the most submissive daughter out of the bunch. She is really sweet and kind and she keeps pushing the boundaries with Frank to get close to him even though he constantly he complains but actually enjoys it.
• Rebecca is the eldest step-daughter and a manipulative monster that runs rampant which is a bit concerning but she is lovable mastermind in the story. She sides with Frank and wants to get him a harem of daughters and is rather forceful about it.
• Lilith is the youngest step-daughter and a deplorable sexpest that coerces Abigail into a sexual relationship and on top of that is a cheater. She also has the gall to forbid you from having anything sexual with Abigail even to the point of assaulting you. You learn about the power dynamics from Rebecca and you can't help but wonder if Lilith was taking advantage of Abigails nature.
• Frank goes along with everything all love and peace and being subservient/passive and apologetic for everything. He has a desire for all of his daughters but keeps forcing Lilith and Abigail together. The worst part is that Rebecca and Lilith do all the groundwork for his sexual fantasy. But for some reason he needs to have countless confirmations to the annoyance of the audience even the characters. Then you sit there and find out, Frank is not even the biological father of Abigail. As he didn't have the balls to confess to his childhoof sweetheart before she got pregnant, Ofcourse the biological father wants nothing to do with his childhood sweetheart but good guy Frank steps up. Then in the current day he gets cucked by his ex-wife and then by his step daughter fucking his own "daughter" Abigail.
  Honestly, Frank is a fucking spineless loser and a cuck.

TL;DR:

I love choice and this game is devoid of that as you can't pick to avoid characters or have a favorite and you are too much into your own head. And I loathe the spineless main character and the broken Lilith. I just want to see the Abigail conclusion because that dynamic is the only interesting one but everything else I'd skip.

For these reasons I give it a 2/5.

A decent game being milked.

The renders are decent. The story is okay. But the narrative is dragging. With each update, progressively less is happening.

All the while, the updates are taking longer. So audiences are waiting more for less.

At the same time, for whatever reason, fan favourite characters are receive less and less attention. Instead, side characters have more content.

It's a decent VN. But it would benefit from:

• A better release schedule.
• An editor, who can tighten the dialogue.
• A writer, who can push for more interesting and eventful story beats.
• Reducing the focus on side characters.

The idea is amazing, the girls look amazing and even some of the side characters are amazing. But I have to give only 1 star because it is very obvious, how much the dev is miliking this.
This game is over 4 years old and you still have no sex with the main heroine, you still get updates with only teasing and no sex and you still have updates which are half based only on characters nobody cares about.
It is sad, that such a promising game goes the same way like so many else.

A decent game that is worth playing but just doesn't nail it....

Pros:

1. Cute girls
2. Models and nice, scenes are good
3. Dialogue is good, written well.

Cons:

1. TOO MUCH dialogue, waaay too much, sure it builds story and gives background, fleshes out characters, but the story is too simple to justify the reading!
2. The MC is a solid BETA, the story is written in such way to be such a slow burn, for the MC to somehow justify his relationships with everyone, almost everyone is on board but the MC kicks back...its incredibly frustrating and only drives to prolong the game in mundane ways, more dialogue and bullshit.
3. The game simply isn't fun, the MC is boring, he is not a fun character at all.

TLDR:

The story is so simplistic yet has been stretched to the very limit with the BETA MC and boring long winded dialogue you can't help but want to skip. Its incredibly uninteresting and there is nothing that sparks or ingites the play at any point to want to see whats next. There simply is little to any point to play the game, its not driven, its characters are boring, mostly the MC and the lewd scenes are good but not great, they very vanilla and they pretty much only stay that way.

Why bother being an incest game with no incest? not even a patch for it.
Honestly, I forgave the fact that Lilith and Rebecca were just step-daughters, I'd prefer if they were his actual daughters, but it's fine. But I feel like I was a good way's into the game before the "oh and Abby isn't actually you're daughter either"

and yes I'm aware that it is said on the front page, but it's behind a spoiler warning that as a player, I don't want to click in case there's something I don't want to see.

I just wasted like a good hour or two that I can't get back, what a piece of shit game

I like the story and the animations are good. The characters are well written and evolve little by little. There aren't too many characters, which allows you to get attached to each of them. I just hope a good ending (not too long, not too short).

This should be 3-4 stars for not keeping the first model they use on the girls first time it was released, especially Lilith, and sign of Frank changes or being bold to have sex with her step daughters, it's not how he used to be, his character was to do everything for his ex (jessica and shannon), reason why i like this game is cause of Frank being unique.

And part of me wants taboo on Lilith, retbecca and Meiko, maybe a little bit from Abigail

Hope he keeps his character that he'll do everything for the girls with no attractions to her girls only affections by not rejecting his girls love for frank, in this case the girls fall in love with franks instead, and franks still finds it weird by not showing it won't hurt them and lose all their connections only when the girls are not around where franks glimpse of showing weird situations and one of her girls rebecca definitely gonna know but still doesn't give up attempting to get franks to attract from all of his girls.

And still keeping his character (for being best dad) that's his goal.

• A game whose plotline just drags on and on
• Moronic, unrealistic plot elements, like excessively repeated dream sequences involving Fae versions of your LIs, representing your subconscious mind (wtf?).
• A MC who is the most spineless, indecisive, waffling, unobservant, idiotic wimp possible outside of NTR games
• Outdated character art design
• Annoying side characters such as a certain Jap girl, who barely smiles, and is as bland as dry bread left out in the scorching sun
• No music to accompany the story whatsoever

then by all means, go ahead and waste days playing this game.

Two stars for not being an immediate fackfest, and for decent English. This game had potential, but the devs chose to squander it all.

The story is about a dad (the MC) who just got divorced and his bond with his three adopted daughters, Abigail, Rebecca, and Lilith, who all have a thing for him, although Lilly starts off as a bit hateful. The girls are cute and have their own personalities, but the main character is a whole different story. It's fascinating to see how the characters grow and develop strong feelings for each other as the story unfolds, however... The real drama comes from the dad himself: his exaggerated sense of morality, or just his fear of admitting his true feelings, are what's standing in the way of any "inappropriate" relationship with his step-daughters.

In the never-ending and unbearable inner debates that the MC has with himself, he keeps saying the same stuff over and over: "this is fucked up, this is wrong, this isn't right, I shouldn't do this, what am I doing, I'm going to hell..., etc." It's like a broken record of guilt and regret that just goes on and on. Using guilt as a storytelling tool in an adult visual novel is just plain annoying and takes away from the enjoyment of reading it, a real kick in the balls.

This story drags on forever, throwing in some random and unappealing side-characters like Meiko (who's just poorly designed) and the lesbian duo: Beth and Vanessa, who honestly shouldn't be in the spotlight... but they do, and they all seem way too into the main character for no good reason, especially considering how dubious and indecisive he is. It's kinda annoying how the dev keeps dragging out the story with random side plots and extra characters that don't really add much, taking the spotlight away from the main love story with the three "daughters" and slowing down the progress of the plot, especially when it comes to the romance between the main character and Abby.

Even with all the flaws, if you can push through the cringeworthy moments brought on by the MC, there is some kind of reward. When he drops the act and gets real about his feelings, setting aside his "conscience" for a bit: the sexual scenes are the real treat in this visual novel – after hours of dense and repetitive dialogues and sick ramblings, it all leads to some seriously passionate sex sessions (those hotel nights with Rebecca and Lilith are memorable... take the blue pill!).

The graphics are decent with average visuals, not really feeling the devs' art style of big-eyed dolls, but you kinda get used to it. Abigail looks pretty good to me, her character is quite charming. So yeah, 'Single Again' isn't the top-tier visual novel I've come across, but it's not the worst either. Despite the main character and Meiko, there are some nice moments. Hopefully, the developer picks up the pace with the story and we finally get to see that long-awaited romance scenes with Abby.

Loved it. The Writing is god tier. The build up, the back story, even the dreaded internal monolog is captivating.

This is a corruption story, but its the MC who is being corrupted by a number of beautiful girls. The story gives enough time for everything to develop is a natural feeling way. you will need a whole weekend to play current content.

I want to praise the author (you deserve more than just the "Dev" title) for creating something so beautiful, if might of ruined every other title on this site.

To start with I wasn't crazy about the over sized eyes of some of the girls. It gives them a cartoonish doll look. It's not a deal breaker though. Other than that the graphics look fine.

The story line however hurts this V/N. There is a lot of slice of life stuff which is fine but there is too much of it here. Slow burn is one thing but it's taken to a whole new level here.

Rebecca was a good character until she started pushing to add more girls to the mix then it just becomes annoying and frustrating. Her original plan to make herself, Lilith and Abby the MC's wives was a nice idea. Too bad the Devs didn't stop there.

I get the MC's reluctance with Abby but again the Devs took it a bit too far and it also becomes annoying. It gets to the point that you want to tell him to strap on his balls and man up. It also belies his assertion to Abby that it doesn't matter who she is with as long as she is happy. when she starts throwing hints that being with the MC is what makes her happy he backs off and changes his tune.

Also too much time is devoted to side characters. It got to the point that some felt more like they were simply in the way, such as Vanessa and Beth. Others as well. The story would have been better served to trim back their time and content and instead devote that to more content with the three main girls.

This V/N has serious potential to be a nice story, even a pretty romantic one if the Dev had stayed the course but it meanders too much and becomes too ambitious for it's own good. Sometimes less is more.

Trim off some of the bloat and keep the main focus on the three girls. They also should stick to Rebecca trying to make her, her sisters and the MC into one big happy family. They had a winner there but for some reason they strayed from that formula.

Is good.
I love the little details like other characters looking at who is talking. Its a little thing but it adds so much more then everyone generally looking out of the screen, that and the work put into the occasional micro emotion adds a lot. I also love the pace, it rarely feels rushed and progress always seems earned. It also never feels like it drags where I start clicking faster just to get through a section where the dialogue isn't adding to the story.

The developer put a tremendous amount of time/effort into this project, absolutely commendable and the project has the potential to be much better. I gave this project 3 stars from both an objective and personal point of view. If the author was interested in improving the games rating to a 4 or 4.5 it could easily be achieved by addressing the most prominent complaints in the reviews, there's a clear consensus.

Before starting a new game, do yourself a favor and rename the MC to "Duh", "Umm" or "Huh". Read below in "The WORST" section for an explanation. I really wanted to enjoy this story more than I did but there were quite a few elements that kept ejecting me from the ride.

My Personal Opinion:
The GOOD
The renders are good. The characters are fairly distinct, each has their own style/kink. I found it easy to get emotionally attached to the 3 main girls (adopted daughter and both step-daughters). It took a while to get to the juicier content but I definitely prefer that over scenarios where the characters are falling all over each other banging their brains out within the first hour, so the slow burn works if you’re patient. If you enjoy a lot of content this game has it, but it's a long haul. You'll have to endure a lot of inconsequential, recycled dialogue and pleasantries, can't say I didn't warn you

The BAD
Kinetic - The story is on rails, 99% of the choices only affect the dialogue, and most of the time there's only one choice offered - so what's the point of having a choice?
Validation - Over cooked for sure. I'm certain I'll have nightmares with characters reiterating "I love you"..."I love you too"..."no, I love you more" for some time. Sometimes less is more.
Elderly Writers - I realize there is a lot of older writers involved in these types of works and based on the script I'm assuming that's the case here. If I'm wrong... I apologize. I have no problem with a writers age, however, older references, words and phrasing would be better suited to older characters - not coming out of the mouths of teenagers and young adults. Having teenagers speak like my grandfather is a total disconnect. It makes the character(s) unrelatable. I found many instances of this within the story.
Prepubescent Stuff – The main girls are late teens and early twenties, so all the “it’s a secret”…”I promise”…”no peeking”…”no backsies” and more is just creepy. Again, it's another disconnect from the character(s). If the character is 11 or 12 bring it on, but not when the characters are essentially adults. What makes it weirder is when a character uses terms like “no backsies” in a sentence, then moments later the same character says “dad, you look dashing”. “dashing”, a word that I’ve only heard used by my grandfather. Is the character 11, 19 or 80 years old? Make a choice and stick with it.
Dream Sequences - There's plenty... and I wouldn't say they are that bad but they seemed unnecessary and distracting. Clearly a lot of energy was put into them but that time/effort might have been better applied to enriching the story or characters.
Giant C**k - Enough with the baseball bat size appendages, dare to be better.

The WORST (Things that force me to mash the Control key)
MC: I can't remember a game I've played where the MC was so clueless, self-doubting and insecure. He lacks confidence, charisma and he's deeply conflicted. Other than being overly annoying, what is he? All the main girls walk all over the MC yet he believes he's in control... it's hilarious. Calling the MC a beta would be a compliment. Half the script is the MC's repetitive thoughts, overthinking the same questions/issues over and over again... to the point where I wanted to grab the sharpest object I could find and stab myself in the eye. If you're reading this and you feel like you identify with this character, you'll love the MC. If you can't identify with the MC, then hide all sharp objects before starting the game - trust me
Meiko - Dry, flat character who doesn't smile (zero personality), adds nothing of interest to the story and is forced into the GF fold... which clearly upsets one of the main girls (Lilith). She's given equal rights and privileges as the main girls yet contributes nothing. She's not attractive (imo) and looks like a skinny boy with a boob job. The MC goes as far as to invite Meiko to live in the same apartment as Becca and Lilith without even consulting them first... wtf! Did a major Patreon contributor ask to have this character injected into the story? I just... don't... get it! If you unplug this character from the script it would never be missed.

For a game that is about 3.5 years old (initially posted February 2020), it shows its age, but is a good choice for a light-hearted "family & friends" harem game.

The Good ()

• OK diversity of love interests with different personalities and body types
• Lots of story content
• Story tries to achieve some emotional depth -- sometimes succeeding, other times not

The Not-So-Good ()

• Uninteresting MC despite potentially interesting background / set-up
• Story has some unique qualities but is overall quite trope-heavy -- if you played any other games like this, many scenes will have familiar beats
• Graphics look a bit dated and the animations could be better
• Despite some H-scenes with some side characters earlier on, it takes hours to get to H-scene content with the main love interests
• The narrative content isn't very compelling and there is a lot of text -- I spent most of my playthrough skipping text to get to choices / new scenes

This game improved over the available content -- the graphics and story actually got better later into the game. Still, this is a familiar, trope-heavy, slow-paced story with outdated visuals -- your mileage may vary.
