I actually got the hint thanks to a different point in the game where you're progression locked.

The Valley, when you reach that point Lilia actually stops you and says that you're probably going to have to find someone to fix the supports so that you don't get impaled at the bottom, that revealed to me the existence of needing to do the quest first before being able to move on.
Additionally while you're exploring the village the guy next to the bottom stairs says that the carpenter had his daughter kidnapped by the Demihumans while also saying that she might yet live, very obvious quest bait to me, talking to the carpenter reveals an option to ask him about the valley which he'll reject at first, so yeah pretty lucky for me and neat from the dev.
You actually don't need to complete the entire quest, just the Demihuman portion for the carpenter to work in the Valley.

My initial progression through the game was basically:
Gravekeeper -> Fleshwall on the road -> Cathedral bridge broken -> Pigman -> Zombie Staff -> Tree -> Dream Slug -> Demihumans -> Carpenter -> stuck midway in Innard Cave -> Swamp -> Town Raid -> Northeast Village -> Innard Cave again -> Underground -> Bridge Fleshwall -> Carpenter again -> Cathedral

there is a boss next to the tome that i didnt defeat it yet ,i need to it kill first? i only deal 1 dmg to it
Hit those weak point with arrow.
Watch this for reference.
All boss fight for anyone who struggling, all of them except the final boss quite easy if you know the strategy. I still not figure out how to fight the final boss easier.
Edit1: Added easy method to defeat Final Boss.
Edit2: I play version 1.02 and see the bosses now get nerfed. So I made new video and removed the old one (though I wonder if it's necessary since they're so easy now).

Also added optional boss, this boss the the only one that required some skill but you don't need to defeat him to progress story (except if you hate lose). Also small guide to save MP go through the village since it need to fight with the boss.
PS1: Yes, I let him gab me on purpose because it's easier for timing next attack.
PS2: Yeah, I m clumsy press wrong button for first attack, don't mind about it.
-------------
All thank ShadowEdge for this boss fight guide.

Huh, so the Village attack is linked to completing that first main quest...

Only needing to do the Demihuman quest does make sense, though in my opinion, doing the Swamp first to acquire piercing arrow and a few upgrades would make that dungeon much easier.

Am I the only one who wanted more content with the drunkard, like if you go to him with the cursed crest, the MC falls in "love" with him, and becomes his plaything and that's a Bad end.
You're not the only one. Definitely a missed opportunity since it's the only villager scene where she's fully visible

I believe the author don't like make sex content at all, he just add it in the game to attract player and force them to watch his guro fetis (I'm the victim).:ROFLMAO:

Really? What makes you think so? Did the author mention it anywhere?

I certainly got that impression form the the first game, which is why I was reluctant to try out this one, since I thought it would just be more of the same and I really have a distaste for blood and gore. But it would be nice to see if this was confirmed in any way, if it ever was.

This one has much more sexual content, and it is much more integral and better executed. Which makes me uncertain about my initial impression about the author.

This one also has less guru than the previous entry. Nice game, waiting for the DLCs

Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong? Yesterday when I was playing everything was fine but now the game refuses to launch with BepInEx added and even when it does launch, it crashes after main menu. No clue what happened as I tried different games with BepInEx added and they all crash in the same way

If the author "confirmed" then I won't need to say "I believe".
The first game barely have sex content, they're likely 90% guro, 10% sex.
This one have more sex content but it's like 80% guro, 20% sex.
The scene with the bad guys in village even hidden for no reason.
Some creatures rape her but then kill her for no reason (normally monster in hentai game rape their victim because they want re-product, even if for satisfy their lust they should keep the victim alive and use until them break).

On that screenshot there you have marked something in the console window which pauses the process, to resume it again u can focus the console window and press enter.
When the game crashes, could you send your Log files from the "BepInEx" Folder?
