Between the two games, which have the best animations/CGs in those categories, which stages do you prefer, and which boss fights do you like the most (ignoring better mechanics for combat in the second game)?
As a whole, I feel the sequel is an improvement. However, when it comes to personal taste, I prefer the CGs in the original while I prefer the animations in the sequel. As far as which stages I prefer, I'm gonna say the sequel's rendition of the lost village is an incredible moment. While I still have a lot of love for the background art for the original village the sequel definitely has more of a Resident Evil 4 vibe going for it. I love how the villagers appear 'normal' at first till you're first captured and it all goes downhill from there. Defeating the cultist priest there was my fav boss battle, too, since it feels like the stakes are already high when most players on their initial playthrough will get captured by it, beginning the parasite arc.

So, with that said, it kinda feels like fighting the cultist priest feels a bit more personal, you know? Especially when you fail the first encounter and it's a race against time to defeat that evil before you become part of it. Loved the music for that arc, too. That it pays homage to the original lost village is the cherry on top.

Plus, the Legion fight tribute.

I honestly don't know how or why priests got to the point of worshipping an otherworlder. Maybe contact with the otherworlder sent them into madness. Maybe otherworlder's presence passively dominates human minds into its servitude.

Edit: Since priests use brainwashing (if you get captured and impregnated), I presume there is some form of mind control going on among the clergy.
Those who want to discuss the storyline should at least read through the analyses of people who are deeply invested in the story, like me or that friend who prefers Lelia over Rabiance. Everything related to the church aligns with the Kessary region in Part 1 in terms of how it operates and its origins, differing only in the characteristics of the region, if you’re wondering.

On a side note, does anyone know how to extract the soundtrack from the sequel yet? I'd gladly buy it as DLC from the dev when and if that happens but seeing as I have the soundtrack for the first game, would be nice to play them back to back.

Or simply a higher power who's effects on the world they can clearly see around them felt like a god that is more worthy of worship than a subtle one working in the background that your only "evidence" for is the faith of wanting to believe in it. Hoping that if they serve this definitely existing god, then it will give them boon as a reward. Power, knowledge, immortality, pleasure, or whatever else humans crave that spur them into action and temp them into performing horrific actions on their fellow humans even in reality without any mind altering corrupting force.

Count me in. I was heavily invested in the lore of the original and would love to figure out where the sequel fits in.

Since in both stories core of corruption is highly educated and powerfull clergy we may assume that its usual devils deal with promises of power and forbiden knowledge, or they just assumed that sucking on otherwolders tentacles harder than mc they will get said power/knowledge.

Plus we kinda know how otherworlder brainwashes/dominates females, but how he do it to males is an open question.
Please don’t discuss anything about the father of Part 2 without reading my analysis. Do you really believe something as absurd as all churches collapsing and falling on their own? I only believe that’s the case in Part 1 because there’s no evidence of resistance against the monsters, but in Part 2, the father carried everything on his back—otherwise, there wouldn’t even be a tiny chance of victory for our two darlings. The father is different from the priest; while the priest are tied to corruption, the father made a lone last stand against them ( yes, in catholic priest and father are same way to call but nennai not a professional in catholic u know ). But, as I mentioned with Rabiance, no matter how strong someone is, one person alone can’t handle all of them. Rabiance is clearly stronger than Lelia in this regard because her weapon is a holy sword, not just a magic wand, and she also faced slightly stronger monsters than Lelia’s (except for the giant flesh worm at the bottom of the river)

It's something called common sense. There is no reason why the villagers would react that way if it weren't at all possible to conceive a human child anymore. The villagers were in contact with abomination brooding long enough to know better. And again, there's Lilia. When she notices dark aura oozing off of the pregnant woman's belly, she suspects she might not be carrying a human child. There is no reason for her to react that way if there were no other option but to birth a monster baby when you are impregnated.

Bro, I am beginning to question if you are dyslexic. None of the screenshots you've posted there confirms your headcanon that every pregnant woman in the game will give birth to abomination brooding 100% of the time regardless of who they mate with. You made a bunch of bullet points talking in absolutes but the screenshots you've submitted only show how and why women in game are giving birth to abomination brooding. They do not at all support your reasoning that this is 100% the case with all pregnancy.
Regarding why the village girl says she’s not pregnant, that line was exist and comes from the early beta demo, when there was nothing related to the grand cathedral—or rather, the grand cathedral hadn’t even been designed yet, so it didn’t exist. Explaining it this way, the girl is simply denying the impurity that Lelia is trying to purify, as a way of saying that she and the others don’t believe in the church of Hajaan and Lelia. If you go to the blood swamp with the leeches, you’ll see another version of that girl lying dead from the leeches, just like Lelia when Lelia loses to the leeches and gives birth to them. In other words, the village girls don’t believe in the dangers out there because everything was peaceful before (the elderly woman behind the village, who was added later, reinforces this by saying that in her youth, she served the church, and the dark lake where the giant flesh worm monster resides used to be a clean water source they used for daily life). This means the village girls are very naive, and anyone who leaves the village either dies or is no longer normal, like the pregnant girl

I'm placing my bets on there being a Haanja DLC later on that will be less combat oriented and more platformer, similar to another game called Alps and the Dangerous Forest

I feel like I am talking to a solid wall at this point. I have absolutely no clue why you are keep asking me for proofs on something that didn't happen in the game. Especially when I was the one who asked that very question.

What are you even talking about? Human fetuses do not get turned into abomination brooding. Abomination brooding are monster fetuses from the getgo. Check the description text on Abomination Brooding Harbinger bro. And doesn't this directly disprove your notion that human pregnancies no longer occur in the game?
Regarding the issue of questions about pregnancy, the method of conception, outcomes, or origins, you two are too stubborn with subjective reasons in the game. I’ll explain simply: the final boss cast a divine-level curse on the land and everyone in it. This curse is so powerful that it operates at a conceptual level (quantum, if you want to visualize it scientifically). The game also has many convoluted details that need a DLC to resolve, as I and other story enthusiasts have discussed before. As long as the concept of human mating and reproduction remains activated, it’s designed to never produce a positive outcome against the final boss—only neutral or favorable results for the boss.

As I said before, don't just apply normal logic into the game (like try to explain why Lilia got pregnant with monster even though she have have sex with the villager). It's just simply because the author not go develop that realistic logic into the game. When she lose the bless, and have sex, she got pregnant monster child, even if she got pregnant, she'll never give birth, until she got caught by some monster with sex desire to fuck her, and end up bearing that latest monster child. That's just the game function, not real life logic.
If you lose the bless and go back the Northeast Village, get capture by the Priest, he'll rape her, parasite her and she got semen build up WITHOUT get pregnant, don't surprise, even normal village have sex one night cause her pregnant monster child but the SUPER BOSS unable get her pregnant, because simply the game function scripted like that. And if you let the monster in this village rape you, got pregnant, escape, go somewhere else with different monster that also have sex desire and get raped again, in the end she'll bearing that latest monster child, not the one from Northeast Village.
Also even though the Priest got defeated, he'll appear again whenever she come back the village.
Try to augment the game with logic totally pointless.
Not about author not create or give any logic to the game. it about there logic are comb of very much type of logic also with reference.

Oh wow I found a Hidden Skin somewhere ( ˶°ㅁ°) !!

1744860698674.png

Well jokes aside, the Dev mentioned that creating or modding the skin would be easier to do in Sinisistar 2. Yeah right as if bro (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻. It might be easier for them but not for us modders bruh, I don't have the same tools as them, or maybe it's just a skill issue on my part.

I want to see how much the kinda Advanced Skin Modding would look like.

After some time, I actually created my 'for personal use only' skin and replayed the entire game with it. I got the idea of creating this skin when I saw people searching like "where is the white skin bruh". That is why I kinda created a white-ish skin. Took me 2 days of my time recoloring around... lets say about ~700 freaking PNG pixel by pixel.

Here she is animated. The skin is not perfect but hey it's still a different look
ezgif.com-optimize.gif ezgif.com-optimize (1).gif
As you can see I made her clothes white-ish. I also removed the tights on her upper chest.
Since her upper chest is exposed, I made it so that her nipples would slip when her breast is enlarged.
ezgif.com-optimize (2).gif ezgif.com-optimize (3).gif
I'm too lazy to make the the cloth have a torn state, so let's just say that this clothes is made up of mana and will disappear entirely when damaged. A minor detail but I removed the belt? on her thighs so she is now completely naked.
Another minor detail, I made it so you could kinda see her panties (I made it skyblue in color).
ezgif.com-optimize (5).gif ezgif.com-optimize (4).gif

I actually shown this skin in here but nobody seemed to notice ╮( ̄▽ ̄"")╭ .
Looking thru in Dlsite and Ci-en, there is not much demand for skin either, so the Dev may not release other skins and just leave it to actual Modders.

I made this post just to show what Modders could achieve.
Here is a skin demo if you want to see it in action > <

I'm not a actual Modder, just a dude with lot's of free time, don't ask me for the skin.

the original really got me shooting and getting into the role more. the 2nd one didn't reach its full potential. the good thing is the original didn't have voice acting when i was into it so i imagined it or listened to voice acting on hentai videos
