I wonder, it just me, or The Otherworlder's bad ending feels more like true ending of game, than happy ending that you get upon resisting him for final time?
I mean, when you beat him, it feels far more abrupt, than when you let him defeat heroines.

Or the ending was simply rushed because of the development issues. The release was delayed by two weeks too.

Perhaps, whole Cathedral level feels little rushed. Many enemies there have pretty simple death animations, and not so elaborated as everything into that point. But thing with that ending is that while bad ending progresses quite naturally and gives you pretty complete "satisfying" conclusion of how both heroines succumb to The Otherworlder and become breeding stock for his children, a good ending will give you practically nothing, beside heroines suddently break free and overhelm The Otherworlder with white light, killing him. We won't even know what happened to them and just get criptic postcredit scene with slug.
Like this it kinda feels like Bad ending is the point. And Good ending just quick alternative.

I wonder, if this ever get OVA, which ending it uses.

read my explain.
Where I find it.

I think mixing koikatsu renders with the 2D default portraits would look jarring...
I'd have to make a total conversion mod where I cover every single portrait.
It sounds like a lot but it could be fun. And I could replace guro portraits with ero ones... for the basic zombie scene.
lol its probably a bad idea but i was thinking more on the line of using poses you create and redrawing over them to create new portraits while trying to match the style as closely as possible. obviously it's way too ambitious so i highly doubt I can even get anything out in time or even draw something as good as the original. I keep saying to myself just to decensor the images and be on with my life but I keep on drawing random shit for fun. like here,

this took me, including the time it took to get all the references up probably around 2 hours just for an okay draft, bare in mind its literally a standing pose with a generic head tilt so it could be longer. I'd assume it will take, if I'm locked in probably 6-8 hours to hopefully look somewhat like the style. but hey, a man can dream.

This is somewhat doable if you only want to replace a handful of subpar scenes. What did you have in mind?

Hmm in terms of what what I would ideally imagine. All scenes would have a unique pose cause it's a bummer when they feel so similar. But I do realise that's not feasible. Of course I would be biased to hand pick the scenes relating to the more humanoid stuff just because I'm not into the other stuff. I think probably the realistic approach so that scope wouldn't be an issue, is to make one pose, and find all the scenes that could adopt that pose. If we're done and satisfied then it's completed or we could add another pose and repeat

the game feels rushed at that point, guy always expressed their worries about delaying the release.
i'm hoping that a more fleshed-out ending will pops up eventually, but the guy can consider that everybody is satisfied with the current ending and end giving up due to the game being sold so well in just few days :V
the guy said something about continuing with ci-en support, so there's a chance that after some rest they will still work in the game >:V

Sinisistar 1 being sold well didn't stop dev from spending years adding free contents to the game. If anything, Sinisistar 2 being well received should motivate dev even more in adding new contents.

I think the dev is gonna add more stuff later, some of them will be based on feedbacks and reviews.

Well, Good Ending is nowhere near as satisfying as Bad Ending. Especially after how difficult final fight was. At least for me.
Even simple animation of Lilia and Hanya leaving Cathedral would be enough. Instead you have straigh up credit roll and WTF post-credit scene with Slug. What was that even supposed to mean anyway?

final fight is just staying on 1 side and spamming sword magic to clear anything on your side and just shoot an occassional exploding arrow towards the other side.

Yeah, the sequel's ending was a touch disappointing. The original on the other hand nailed it despite its simplicity.

Anyhoo, I'll probably give my two cents on the lore once I've played through the sequel again. Feel like I've already written an essay on the original's story a year or so back (forget if it's way back in this thread or the original's.) but I'll revisit it, too.

Well, it doesn't felt so easy to me. It took me a lot of time and tries. But I did it with sword. Did not got wand from secret boss until game was finished. :HideThePain:

Only Good ending. Bad ending was perfect. They had to just put end credits there and call it day. Nobody would complain.
