Just insert a generic youtuber apology sigh into this beginning.
seem like the most actively analytical people in the last 20 chapters of the forum recently have views quite different from mine. I’m happy about the quantity, but pretty disappointed with the quality of your analyses—bizarre evidence and things like Bloodborne… are they philosophical or what… meaningless. Also, someone claiming the author is planning for Rabiance and Lelia to become part of the final bosses or creatures worshiping the final boss is foolish. It’s quite frustrating because it wouldn’t add any appeal, depth, or plot twist to the game. Everyone assumes that only clear characters like Haanja and the two main protagonists of the series (along with the characters who’ve already failed) are the righteous side, while the other factions, like the foolish villagers or the ruling powers like the church, are always corrupt and targeted first. Is there really anything interesting about believing in this hypothesis?
Personally, I think you guys are filling the conversations with stuff that’s pretty low-quality in my eyes.
You see, there's nothing wrong with disagreeing with other peoples viewpoints, theories or opinions. I think that's a pretty healthy thing to do, you know. Different mindsets are great! It's what brings progress and expands the conversation. Overall just a very fun and great time, really.
Buuut then you had to drop dismissive language into it. In your very second sentence, you make it clear you view theories of other people, bizarre or not, as beneath yours. Now, technically there's nothing wrong with that mindset - except for an inflated ego like others have stated - but it becomes a problem when you say it out loud. Or worse still, type it out, (possibly, but doubtfully) re-read it and then hit Enter.
You commit to pretty much directly attacking other people just because their theories didn't tingle your tastebuds. This message being just one of possibly many. I for sure ain't gonna look through your posting history, finding other instances of this, but I also don't need to. The tone here seems hostile by design from the very get-go.
I’ve explained it neutrally and framed my response with an open-ended question because I don’t think I need to seriously replay, scr every detail, and analyze it comprehensively to be accurate cuz the game will explain everything, and the answers to all questions will come in the next few months. Unlike hentai games with deep storylines but complex, drawn-out plot twists and pacing like Black Soul need to deep talk about.
I hope is that you guys would diversify and strengthen multiple hypotheses at once instead of focusing heavily on things that yield underwhelming results.
You did not explain it neutrally and noone will reply to your open-ended question because of its passive-aggressive nature. Your message sparks the "I don't know you, and I don't care to know you" Oblivion NPC in people reading it:

To add, I'd like to ask a simple question. Ever heard of "
The Game Theorists"? You know, the silly MatPat guy we all know and love, or at least I know I do?
There's this silly thing he always said at the end of each game theory video.
"But that's just a theory, a GAME THEORY! Thank you for watching!"
To me, it wasn't just a goofy outro, it was a direct statement saying: "This is a fun theory and all, but take it with a grain of salt" with the focus on the word
'fun'.
From my gathering and my own two cents and even handful of postings, yeah. People just theorize for fun. It doesn't matter whether they go deep or surface level. It doesn't really matter if the dev comes out tomorrow saying what is fact and what isn't. What matters is the discussion and fun about it. Because that's what social interactions are supposed to be. Fun.
So if the reply to the first quote didn't get the message across clearly:
Let people have fun and don't be a douchebag if you disagree. You aren't inviting discussion, you are inviting a debate. This isn't a competition. The only price to gain here is disdain from other people in this thread. People are here for fun and a good time. You are bringing fun only for yourself.
Kuukiyomi: Consider it.
A new topic that no one discuss because it feels obvious, like checkpoints, interesting art, or savegames. What do you think about the goddess statues in the game? I believe they were built beforehand, during the peaceful time hinted at by the old woman behind the village (like when she still served in the church and its surroundings). All the bosses (unlike the lesser species serving as their minions) have an evil, dark energy that’s affected by the statues (at least repelled, or at most directly damaged, purifying their darkness and weakening them). That’s why they’re always at the end of the path, after or far from the statues. (Only the holy grail with blessed water doesn’t affect them much, or perhaps the grail came after the statues and was placed there as a tool left by a pioneer purifier, a reminder or aid in case they failed?) Evidence supporting this theory is near the Demihuman Cave, where you find headless goddess statues. Personally, I think the demihuman god ordered their destruction or defilement, not something the lesser species came up with on their own. (If the lesser species devised it as a strategy, they would’ve also destroyed the statue heads in the village during Lelia’s village revenge event after defeating and trying to abuse her for killing their worshipped god.) This boss truly has the ability to think, possibly on par with the priest in the parasite village. Meanwhile, creatures like the leech boss act purely on instinct, without thought.
this may.. maybe just an overlooked detail, not worth mentioning, or lacks an explanation, then fine, let’s wait for the new version and see the clarification.
Yeah I just quoted this to say: I ain't reading all that. Learn to format your block of text, it's a pain to read this.
