Btw a little thing I've been thinking about before regarding this screenshot / the layout of the 1st game map. Rabiane approaches this cathedral from the back door and never goes to the bridge seen on the right of the picture, while Lilia goes to her cathedral from the bridge side. It could be a theory that the 1st and 2nd games are neighboring areas with the cathedral being in the center of the 2 areas and Rabiane / Lilia simply approached the place from 2 opposed sides.
(ofcourse this is all if we reeeeeeally wanna connect the games...in the end these two areas might be just 2 far off lands and the 2 games might simply have nothing to do with each other.)

Hell, here is another interesting idea. The observer is seen in the 2nd game as an easter egg in a dark corner. What if it's not an easter egg. Lilia does pray to the observer to get a special item...here is a new interpretation...
What if the slug you find after kicking the ass of the father is not the father...but the observer. Making the 2nd game a prequel....
Lilia and Haanja does win, and they do beat the Father...but Lilia is actually a devotee of the Observer and gives birth to it after the Father is gone, leading into the 1st game. The observer might be weaker than the father hence why it was in a dark corner hiding while the father was dominant.
Lilia is also not controlled at the end unlike Rabiane. She can freely choose to kill it, or lovingly embrace it and copulate with it.
But of course this is just another plausible theory based on a hidden Easter egg. *shrugs*
The theory simply falls apart because of that same bridge. It's intact in Sinisistar 1, but collapsed in Sinisistar 2. Who could have repaired that bridge when all the humans are gone? Corrupt priests don't look to me like they know masonry.

As I said, it was just a random spark in my head, fair point I guess. :p

・Unity Update
・Responding to problems that may not start the game due to virus busters
・Supports the problem of freezing when the PC screen is switched and returned with vertical synchronization turned on on Mac
・Responding to the problem that the animation may not be played correctly when hit by a small Enenute
・When you see a specific event, respond to the problem where another item is released in the gallery

Game in development: "WTF, sequel to guro game has guro?!!"

Game released: "WTF, sequel to guro game has so little guro?!"

I know it's different people coming into the thread, but it's still funny to me.
Perhaps people was expecting for a ceratin kind of guro butended disappointed with the ammount or how it was represented etc
I noticed that this game have a much bigger emphasis in birthing compared with the first game, that had a lot of scenes with Rabiane being munched, decapited, quarted, impalled in several ways, etc etc
this time, lots of gameover scenes are about Leila becoming some sort of flesh uterus to birth almost every kind of creature in the game, thus falling pretty right in the "guro/grotesque" category, and albeit some guys can complain about the theme or ammount, sinalling the game as "contain grotesqueness" is important to avoid potencial complains after purchase
(you has been advised >:V)

As far as the whole sequel vs. prequel debate goes, I don't believe Kesseria Cathedral is the same as the one in the sequel. Granted, the layout of the surrounding area really doesn't match up so I'm of the belief there is a crisis of faith throughout the realm of Arcezon, where the former bastions of its true religion (which the nuns follow) are targeted by the otherworldly entities for their resources and potential for amassing followers to do their bidding. After all, it's fairly well known at this point that the cult you face were former followers of the holy order, who now see the otherworlders as their new gods.

So, again with the sequel vs. prequel debate, I'm undecided on whether the events of the first game were before the events of the sequel but rather they're so closely linked in the timeline that it's possible Rabiane is still held captive against her will as the Observer's personal plaything while Lilia and Haanya are busy investigating events elsewhere in Arcezon. At least this is my head canon anyway that she was a former nun in service to Kesseria and that for some reason or another she was singled out among her fellow sisters there to amuse the otherworlder, who placed her in the tower for who knows how long, though I'm assuming it happened when the cult truly took over, sometime when Kesseria's other nuns also became victims.

Most people here go with the order as presented by Nennai; regardless, we know that events happen in two different locations and that Kessaria is the worst of the two scenarios. All humans and probably most normal wildlife have fallen to the Abomination Outbreak unleashed by the Observer and its followers; there are no hidden support items or spells to help Rabiane, only her sword and magical arrows; and the best she can do is use the abandoned church to plan her next part of the mission. Rabiane is singled out both for her potential and for being the only living uncorrupted being left in Kessaria. If she didn't escape like the credits showed, then she is probably trapped in the Cathedral, but she should have been successful in wiping out the cult as well as the manifested body of the Observer.

Extra: One can even assume Rabiane is the sole survivor of the team of sisters garrisoned in the region, but maybe that's pushing it too far.
