am i the only moron here who struggled in the cathedral underground? like i genuinely found that place harder than the cathedral itself. Not even kidding. That laser only had to hit me 2-3 times to finish me and the jump window for that is weird and the guy that spawns 3 slimes before that part of the stage deals a lot of damage too. my health is level 3 and maybe its not sufficient lol? idk. everything is so tanky now too. Maybe that was the part where i was supposed to invest on potions and i just didnt do that or something.
I wonder if youre pass the innard worm how you are losing to there ambush eyes cultish?

Oh lol the answer to that is surprisingly very simple. The enemies in the innard cave dont 3 shot me. I was health lvl 2 when i cleared that place even. Also for the other comments thanks for reminding me of the owl spell! made sense to me all of a sudden LMAO

Honestly feels less like divine intervention and more like the ova is hinting at the whole adventure being one fat illusion. In the game the starting room and the final room with the slug are the same and in the ova she starts contemplating that maybe she sees the game over visions cause that's what she truly desires. Sounds to me like the flesh bud she breaks out of in the final fight is where she was during the whole game and everything else is just the observer trying to break her mind to make her give in to him at the end in the form of the slug.
Or it's just a compilation of game over sex scenes. Like so many other OVAs from other eroges. Lol.

Rant Edit: Never assume OVAs to be canon in any way. Because sometimes they show events diametrically opposed to what actually happened in the original eroge.
For example, Koutetsu no Majo Annerose. Its OVA shows heroine get violated by all manner of guys and even impregnated by the villains in the end. Showing male character as a loser cuck who lost everything.
None of that was ever canon in the eroge the OVA was made about. The real state of things was that the original eroge had a bunch of game overs, depending on the choices you made, with each of them booting you out into the main menu (because they are game overs, duh). And what OVA makers basically did, they stringed those game over scenarios into one continuous plot, which made the OVA have a copmletely different plot and tone than that of the original.

It's been over a decade since that OVA released, but I'm still mad about how they butchered it.

An easy way to get past the slimes is to stand right next to the priest when you kill him. Then when the slimes spawn, you can walk under the one that spawns in the middle and jump over the one that spawns on the right before they can attack you.

I appreciate the idea proposed in the OVAs because they provide a different approach when compared to the Otherworlder from the second gam. The OVAs were quite explicit in showing those game overs as sequences that Rabiane experienced before "snapping back to reality"... at least until she got to the creepy giant baby with the parasitic worms. That said, I understand your frustration with changes made by animated adaptations, I'm still mad at the studio animating Jitaku Keibin 2 for messing with the oyakodon ending by fusing it with one of the dumbest game overs you can get in the game and using lots of BS to make the smart MC a moron incapable of using his cameras.

But even discarding the OVAs, the Otherworlder in Sinisistar 1 played its hand better by forcing a confrontation on its terms: Rabiane cannot fight it unless she has intercourse with the slug in the dream church. I suppose if she had the special cocaine from the second game it would reveal her final enemy, but I'm working on the assumption that the Observer can only be fought inside the Priest's Nightmare.

Oh I completely get what you mean and obviously I'm taking the ova with a grain of salt. However the first and last rooms of the game being the same room was sus to be before the ova even existed. Then again, I'm just coining a possible alternate interpretation. I'm not saying this one is the 100% truth nor is it the only theory I believe to be possible myself.

I always thought of it as a deliberate illusion created by the final boss, to confuse and torment Rabiane.
Which got more support now that the final boss of this game also creates an illusion during his fight.

The thing with the Observer is that it messes with reality itself. Rabiane goes inside the door to its chambers, and suddenly it's the interior of the very church she uses as a base of operations; even the music is similar, but you can notice something different in it. When she has sex with the slug in there, she is sent to an illusion within an illusion: sex with the slug is still happening as she fights the Observer's true form, but it's sex in a replica of the church's interior.

Ad for the comment on the Observer being there, its presence in the human world is stronger than the Father's and even Seere, but its true form is still contained in the Priest's Nightmare. That's why I said before that the previous game overs do not work in favor of the Observer, it needs Rabiane to reach its lair and the Priest's Nightmare so it can effectively turn her into the perfect vessel.

The Virgin "Father" vs the Chad Observer.
sinisistar 2 have stronger monster but less interest cuz they not a unknown thing ( pp fear the unknown and the unknown may feel stronger ? ) anymore. Also with great power comes great responsibility so there lelia dont hav to fight alone, atleast three people with same lelia power go with her side if we not talk about normal human ( they hav no power fs )

It's amazing how Rabiane can defeat a otherworlder god without any help. Hell, the entire mission for Rabiane in Sinisistar 1 looks like a suicide mission for her.

Leila: Juste Belmont (with Haanja) or Trevor and Sypha if you prefer
Rabiane: Simon Belmont

Leila: That player who collects all upgrades to be properly prepared to fight the bosses. Basically, max stats and gear to guarantee victory.
Rabiane: That '90s player or Dark Souls Player who pulls a very difficult win with starter gear and stats.

The amygdala boss fight would be a lot more enjoyable if she ran faster
Also the womb curse only appearing on her body during the priest scenes is kind of disappointing innit? I hope the updates change that
