Personally I think the game
is good enough.
but regarding the mission mermaiden mod it’s mostly a difficulty spike + more/higher chance of ero grabs + changes to status effects
Changes to Sinisistar2 in relation to the mod could be some combination of these…
- Grab enemies more aggressive (attacks sooner)
- Aroused debuff now can be applied outside of parasite debuff x/5
- Faster defilement application
- Stronger mana debuffs for statuses
- Lactation now leaks your mana (either timed or when you are hit) (probably the latter)
- Any form of big belly could disable sprint? Not sure if this could soft lock you; if you get the float spell you would no longer be soft locked, but that’s nearly late game.
- Pregnancy kicks damage health? Applies slow for a sec?
- Pregnancy increases melee damage (non-magical) if pregnancy kicks is going to happen when I use magic I don’t see why I shouldn’t get rewarded for using non-magic melee.
- Semen cover attracts jellyfish? Not strictly a debuff in-game. Being covered in semen happens to the portrait. Not to be confused with the “semen buildup”debuff
- Brainwashing debuff now available outside that one mage? Applies by jellyfish maybe. Effect is can’t reject the ruffian in village idk.
- Pig parasite can be added by the parasite that jumps out of the Pig? This makes 2/2 possible outside of Pigman boss, and you’d have to milk yourself to get out of that state.
- imo running out of mana SUCKS in this game. Some way to recover mana might be needed if difficulty is added. Maybe make it so most enemies now drop mana on death. Maybe semen buildup/pregnancy/flesh bud makes it so more mana absorbed. Or by default melee attacks regain your mana on hit.
- Not sure what you’d do for the various eggs. Maybe just take less damage and/or lower aggression respective to the enemies related to the eggs (Leech/Tentacle/Parasite)
- Womb crest could give less mana expended+more max mana, but lowers magic damage? Crest could also keep you aroused? I’d love more pregnancy mechanics related to this but base game doesn’t have much to support it.
Mission Mermaiden can get away with the debuffs because she has a get out of jail free card by entering boost mode and the fact her base attack is pretty strong. Leila here can’t kill some the enemies reliably/safely without her magic arrow.
it would be nice if any of these changes could be turned on or off, or numbers changes if numbers are too high.
