For Sinisistar2, i think it would be good to up the difficulty by making debuffs harder to avoid, and harder to remove while increasing and diversifying their impact.Im thinking of making a Hardcore mod, does anyone have ideas for things i can change or implement to make the game hardcore?
Or, you know, not click on fast travel to begin with. Just need a little willpower, but there's nothing wrong with the option.A game where you have to backtrack all the time, not having fast travel is just awful and tedious, neither fun nor hard. Especially when the distances between locations are stupidly vast (Looking at you Dragon's Dogma).
Testicular torsion to all devs who decide not to include fast travel, and to all players who ask for fast travel to be removed.
Cathedral underground door: Get softlocked, idiot. (It is actually impossible to get out of that room without fast travel, if you don't have the key.)Or, you know, not click on fast travel to begin with. Just need a little willpower, but there's nothing wrong with the option.
Tbh, I only used it when I was legit stuck at that one door to the cathedral. I like my immersion.
The uncen gofile link doesn't work for me, it gives me an error message... anyone else had this problem?You must be registered to see the links
hi guys, this is bilbili 元素雨 mod,code:246580
you need Unzip to get a file named Desktop,Continue to unzip to get two files ,and
Then extract the two files that you get
Finally move the two files into the mod/player, I successfully tested it in version 1.0.5.
by the way, I'm a bilbili depth user, but I only learned about this mod on F95 , Thanks to bilbili blogger 元素雨 for his selfless sharing
try again, had hte general link instead of the folder by mistakeI'm getting a login prompt for Mega instead of download links
Sorry to burst your bubble but I wasn't attacking you, dumbass.Cathedral underground door: Get softlocked, idiot. (It is actually impossible to get out of that room without fast travel, if you don't have the key.)
It's not about willpower, it's about absolutely useless waste of time for nothing. Might as well turn off the computer and stare at the blank wall, it'll be just as productive.
Edit: You reminded me of the peak retardation that is: "If you used ___ you didn't actually beat the game!"

My bad. I am pretty paranoid, and may actually be a bit retarded (not confirmed). So I saw that as a snide remark against me.Sorry to burst your bubble but I wasn't attacking you, dumbass.
I said it's fine to have fast travel. I brought up the cathedral door because it is a soft lock that requires it to advance.
Ironically, I was AGREEING with you. I was saying people who don't want fast travel don't have to use it in the first place. THEY were the ones I was calling out for not having enough willpower. Not you. Stop being retarded yourself.
Again, let me spell out for those who don't know how to read. People who ask to remove something they can easily ignore is a matter of willpower that's purely on them. If they don't want it, don't use it. Simple. Again, I'm on your side here.
hey i had this bug!Do you know where I could download v1.0.3? Apparently the bug that I'm experiencing, where the menu keeps scrolling up only appears from v1.0.4 onwards, but I cant find any earlier versions.
That's fine, mate. And sorry for being a little venomous at the end there myself.My bad. I am pretty paranoid, and may actually be a bit retarded (not confirmed). So I saw that as a snide remark against me.
Sorry again, for getting it wrong.
+ no fast travelFor Sinisistar2, i think it would be good to up the difficulty by making debuffs harder to avoid, and harder to remove while increasing and diversifying their impact.
A couple of suggestions:
1. Currently gameover from bosses clears their corresponding debuff stack completely. It would be better to tweak their gameovers so that after respawn you are left with max possible debuff stack (like zombification 2/3 in case of gravekeeper). That would make such debuffs harder to avoid, and also will close the loophole player can use to easily remove debuff without any repercussions.
2. For making debuffs harder to remove, or rather disincentivize removing them, here are some ideas:
- removing debuffs is costly, probably the easiest way to implement;
- removing debuffs can cause delevelling (every time, or maybe with some probability) - that will additionally incentivise playing at level 1;
- removing debuffs can cause temporary weakening (reducing of stats), for a set period of time, or amount of location changes (preferably not counting going back and forth between same locations if possible), or a set number of killed enemies - that would also mean player can't just remove debuffs and go fight boss straight away without any consequences;
- removing debuffs can cause some small fraction of their effect to remain permanently - that would limit how much debuffs can be cleansed before the effects stack to debilitating levels.
Speaking of Mission Mermaiden, the primary reason for the hard mod was that grabs were very easy to get free from, so you'll need to lose on purpose to get the fun. Hard mod instead made it so punishing that it essentially forces playing it like normal game, actively avoiding being caught and cleansing any debuffs as soon as possible, as a result missing all the fun from grabs and debuffs, which is doubly sad cause mod made some nice tweaks and additions to debuffs. Personally, i'd hope to avoid such scenario for Sinisistar. Also current system of respawning player in the same location after death is very good, so please don't change that (like no permanent gameovers and no forcing replaying from last statue and such).
kids these days and their adhd)) have you ever played NES SNES PS1? )) does anyone remember any fast travel in games like Soltice, Zelda, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy... hell even Fallout1/2, Fallout 4 survival mode, Morrowind, whole GTA series for fuck sakeA game where you have to backtrack all the time, not having fast travel is just awful and tedious, neither fun nor hard. Its possible that Holy Knights are far far rarer than sisters so they are used to protect key places than the land itself. Or maybe they worship a different god that doesnt have purification while the sisters a goddess that can purify.Actually that makes me curious. If there are Holy Knights that should mean they are able to use purification magic. Holy Knights don't have to be necessarily male too so there could be some knights in the sisterhood. In fact I'd probably say Rabi would be closer to one since she uses a sword rather than a wand if it wasn't for her nun outfit.
Which brings up a question...why aren't the holy knights paired up with the sisters? We know the sisterhood doesn't have the numbers and looking at the tutorial boss being a corrupted nun and the cathedral having nuns turned into gold you'd think they would have at least a knight and nun pair.
I mean...also, getting soft locked there is also a matter of not reading and lack of pattern recognition...it's rather obvious from just a bit of ability to observe that the cathedral is the final area, so logically you should go to the village first. By the time I got to the Cathedral door, I already had the key to begin with. >_>I said it's fine to have fast travel. Unlike then, the map wasnt one big empty field and you could travel from one end to another in about 10 minutes.kids these days and their adhd)) have you ever played NES SNES PS1? )) does anyone remember any fast travel in games like Soltice, Zelda, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy... hell even Fallout1/2, Fallout 4 survival mode, Morrowind, whole GTA series for fuck sake
There's also the likelihood that holy knights are seen as the military arm of the church, which invite fear among a populace that are already on edge from whatever evil plagues them. That's why the sisters themselves are perhaps seen as a more diplomatic alternative as they convey empathy for the downtrodden. Also women are naturally seen as less a threat, generally speaking.Its possible that Holy Knights are far far rarer than sisters so they are used to protect key places than the land itself. Or maybe they worship a different god that doesnt have purification while the sisters a goddess that can purify.
Has for why they cannot be together well, ya know. Love and the potential of corruption with it.
lol, in my case I wanted to see how far I could go without following the bread crumbs. Granted, the game is structured in a way you can literally go to that tree and collect the dust needed for the pregnant woman's ritual, without even encountering her in the first place. Yet on my first playthrough I immediately went to the demihuman area because, yay, new content!I mean...also, getting soft locked there is also a matter of not reading and lack of pattern recognition...it's rather obvious from just a bit of ability to observe that the cathedral is the final area, so logically you should go to the village first. I'm gonna nitpick here...but you know, Zoom exists in the dragon quest series and been in there from pretty early on.kids these days and their adhd)) have you ever played NES SNES PS1? )) does anyone remember any fast travel in games like Soltice, Zelda, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy... hell even Fallout1/2, Fallout 4 survival mode, Morrowind, whole GTA series for fuck sake
you ether have to have difficulty for this or you should pay somehow for fast travel, like risk of random encounters (like in Fallout 2, Kingdom Come ) or pay for cab/carrage to go from city to city (Morrowind, GTA)
I never liked these kind of situations in games (coersed sex) , but damn this must be the hottest moans I'll even seen in a H-gameDecided to do a variant edit of the one I made before since this is probably more fitting than the guy still going for a kiss after phase 2 lmao
