I just completed mine. Took me about 3 days because I've been working a lot. Like this game is gruesome, wouldnt recommend it for the faint of heart especially if you havent heard of it or played the first one.

It does have its hot bits but some deaths I just thought 'holy jesus...' like the beheading from the parasitic villager and dumps her body on the river or having her brain literally expand and pop out of her head (had Wolfenstein flashbacks) or seeing poor Haanja turn into bubbled flesh. I was more upset for little Haanji-poo.

Some parts I was a bit disappointed like the drunkard rapist in the tavern, I was expecting more if you returned to him like a continuation and maybe becoming friends with benefits.

Most of the game is easy so long as you identify your reach to the enemies, wasnt often I used magic attacks. Some boss battles were not scaled from easy to hard, you had a mix of easy, hard, learning etc. The final boss took me some attempts because Haanja is just getting bombarded and when the boss gets frustrated and tries to trap you I didnt know you had to keep playing.

Some references here and there though. Some parts looked like something out of DOOM 3 or Dead Space. The parasitic village was no doubt a nod to the original but also RE4. In the final area you see some books with faces, that could possibly be a reference to Evil Dead movie.

Also just for people who have a nun/sister fetish - something I own char (123).jpg char (53).jpg char (55).jpg

Ricca has some, not much and very soft core compared to sini, but some.

I mean, it sounds to me like you should try looking on this site for some more vanilla game. This game is dark fantasy and yes, basically every monster is cruel is some way, even the ones that are just out to fuck her will fuck her into a state of mind broken breading hole.
I've looked at these before, usually normal or with crooked controls and long construction in a game context, or dark cruel to the point of meaninglessness, or we took what was done before us, changed the skins and here's a new game

if you play in normal, the boss health is around 500hp. Yes, shoot and run.
took my 5min too cuz i though this boss is immortal so the round is run but not.
this boss is actually very easy just spam jump+shot. jumping before shooting allows you to shoot it straight without the need to waste time aiming.

Did anybody check to see what the final slug does at the end after beating the final boss, I saw it and on auto pilot just wand whipped it, but figure it might have been part of a secret ending and I'd really rather not have to do that boss fight again.

If you walk up to it, it'll bang you in a h scene that for now doesn't unlock in gallery.

I actually got the hint thanks to a different point in the game where you're progression locked.

The Valley, when you reach that point Lilia actually stops you and says that you're probably going to have to find someone to fix the supports so that you don't get impaled at the bottom, that revealed to me the existence of needing to do the quest first before being able to move on.
Additionally while you're exploring the village the guy next to the bottom stairs says that the carpenter had his daughter kidnapped by the Demihumans while also saying that she might yet live, very obvious quest bait to me, talking to the carpenter reveals an option to ask him about the valley which he'll reject at first, so yeah pretty lucky for me and neat from the dev.
You actually don't need to complete the entire quest, just the Demihuman portion for the carpenter to work in the Valley.

My initial progression through the game was basically:
Gravekeeper -> Fleshwall on the road -> Cathedral bridge broken -> Pigman -> Zombie Staff -> Tree -> Dream Slug -> Demihumans -> Carpenter -> stuck midway in Innard Cave -> Swamp -> Town Raid -> Northeast Village -> Innard Cave again -> Underground -> Bridge Fleshwall -> Carpenter again -> Cathedral

there is a boss next to the tome that i didnt defeat it yet ,i need to it kill first? i only deal 1 dmg to it
Hit those weak point with arrow.
Watch this for reference.
All boss fight for anyone who struggling, all of them except the final boss quite easy if you know the strategy. I still not figure out how to fight the final boss easier.
Edit1: Added easy method to defeat Final Boss.
Edit2: I play version 1.02 and see the bosses now get nerfed. So I made new video and removed the old one (though I wonder if it's necessary since they're so easy now).

Also added optional boss, this boss the the only one that required some skill but you don't need to defeat him to progress story (except if you hate lose). Also small guide to save MP go through the village since it need to fight with the boss.
PS1: Yes, I let him gab me on purpose because it's easier for timing next attack.
PS2: Yeah, I m clumsy press wrong button for first attack, don't mind about it.

All thank ShadowEdge for this boss fight guide.

Huh, so the Village attack is linked to completing that first main quest...

Only needing to do the Demihuman quest does make sense, though in my opinion, doing the Swamp first to acquire piercing arrow and a few upgrades would make that dungeon much easier.
