Got a piece of SiNiSistar 2 history for the thread; early artwork of Lelia and Haanja by Shishikura Sendou. These were the artworks that convinced Nennai to commission them to design the Arcezon Town NPCs and the Gravekeeper. Unfortunately, Shishikura Sendou deleted those works from their Twitter account and I had assumed them lost since they didn't appear on any booru sites I checked. Luckily, they were archived by the Wayback Machine so I managed to recover them. And I have to say, for you Haanja fans, this will be a treat!

lol, I remember those. Makes me wish he was commissioned to do more. This universe is deserving of it.

started the game and was quite hooked until I fought the stomach boss. What a pain in the ass that I have to keep hugging the right side (and getting grabbed) and still getting grabbed if I just stop hugging for one second.
It's not impossible it's frustrating to fight against.

Personally I just did exactly as you did, except I bought 2 of each potion and used only the bow. Thing is unnecessarily tanky; I remember counting around 400 hp. It was by far the most annoying section.

Actually you didn't need to, the easiest way to defeat it is just spamming arrow into it mouth without need to avoid the tongue, if you're lucky you'll hit the tongue before it shot out and it's attack get cancelled, if get grabbed then just struggle to escape, it'll die very quick so you don't even need to worry about get grabbed a few times.
The problem is the stomach route is too long with a lot monster that hard to avoid, that build up your defilement level, if your defilement too high then you can't escape the grab, but this problem can easy solved by using the white potion.
Watch this to see how it done:
All boss fight for anyone who struggling, all of them except the final boss quite easy if you know the strategy. I still not figure out how to fight the final boss easier.
Edit1: Added easy method to defeat Final Boss.
Edit2: I play version 1.02 and see the bosses now get nerfed. So I made new video and removed the old one (though I wonder if it's necessary since they're so easy now).
Edit3: Added no damage challenge, it's actually doable.

Also added optional boss, this boss the the only one that required some skill but you don't need to defeat him to progress story (except if you hate lose). Also small guide to save MP go through the village since it need to fight with the boss.
PS1: Yes, I let him gab me on purpose because it's easier for timing next attack.
PS2: Yeah, I m clumsy press wrong button for first attack, don't mind about it.
-------------
All thank ShadowEdge for this boss fight guide.

is it worth playing the first one or this one can be start as standalone?
While it's not necessary I love the original just as much as the sequel, for different reasons. You won't be disappointed if you do end up playing both and if you act soon you can grab the original for 50% off over at DLSite. Definitely worth it, imho.

That and I can't argue enough to support this dev for all their hard work. =D

Considering ReShade i found most impactfull shaders on gameplay to be Bumpmapping, ReflectiveBumpmapping, DH_Sync, AdaptiveSharpenings FakeHDR and on my taste Advanced CRT.
They blend distinction between 3d and 2d objects on Unity so it looks like game is fully on 2d like engine.

Shaded:

CRT also increases pixel count on animation sprites making them more smooth and immersed with rest of bacground

Could you drop your preset/settings file here? Looks pretty good!

A sincere question. I've already finished the game, 9.5/10, a great game! But could someone tell me what the slug that appears after killing the final boss means? Is it what's left of the boss? Does it symbolize her psyche or her motherhood? Or does it represent the ongoing cycle?

Please feel free to comment on what you thought of the ending, because I found it very underwhelming and too quick. But somehow i liked it everything. Much love yall hope you had fun as much as i did.
