It is possible to beat him on the first encounter. The weak point is the head (or should I say base of the hands?) and the attack window is very short. Deal enough damage to him by shooting arrow at his face when he tries to grab you, then you can skip the entire village sequence of retreving the two pieces.
More bug fixes.
I rather expect there to be nothing for a good month or two at minimum.
Northeast Village's literally designed such that you can simply lose and still continue by finding the key parts in a different manner if you are unable to kill the boss. It is clearly intended to be extra hard to clear.
I don't get why Cathedral Underground needs to be nerfed though, I can't recall anything being on the same level of difficulty as the NE Village boss.

well alright, i hope the dev really make the dlc or something, this game have much potential

The village was difficult, but the cathedral was hell. Reminded me my time at Dark Souls lol

Juggling between Casual and Normal and I'm starting to realize the one thing Nennai missed copying from Bloodborne that could actually serve as a compromise between the two for a much more dynamic style of gameplay: parry and evade mechanics.
The need to hit then back out of 2 steps for melee is annoying and clunky, while ranged and the upward slash seems to work as intended. The former in particular is problematic on Normal due to having to walk back after every stab that I feel like there could've been a better way to make this work.

Just lose to advance the plot since Northeast Village requires you to be parasitized to proceed with the 2nd phase of the map where you see the next stage of how the parasites mutate their hosts besides rendering them horny, or go the chad route of nailing the Priest's eye with an arrow whenever they bring their shield down.

I just come back to the boss fight again. I have the two pieces to open the gate
Getting parasitized opens up the rest of the village for those two eye pieces for the gate.

Also where can i find the key for the cathedral underground?

Just 1, it's like what happens when you finally go through Yahargul at night with Bloodborne, you encounter the region's 2nd phase.
You have to have a parasite with you at all times, since the lock respawns if you purge it out.

The game archive you get from DLsite always been 4GB as it contains both the Windows and Mac build.
