That's on brand. It's a reference to the first game, and the first game took it from Bloodborne.

I just finished the first game and I've come to realize the better comparison for this game is Pathologic 2, it's both a remake AND A sequel to Sinisistar just as Pathologic 2 was to 1.

That said, Seere pales in comparison to the final boss of the Laboratory, that was PEAK.

Same, except the arrows are consumable, and you only have one melee, sword magic could make an appearance soon since I'm still at the third level of the game but considering the game's linearity, I think the current roster of weapons are all that's there. That said, the progression of the series is similar to Super Mario where the first game is a linear progression of levels, while the sequel finally opens that up to something far more free roaming, with the dev taking cues from Metroidvania when it comes to how new powers opens up new traversal options.

The first game is still gorgeous, but it's simpler than the 2nd game in terms of gameplay, it's also more straightforward narratively. You can really tell though how the dev just went full Bloodborne for the sequel since it didn't just copy the aesthetics, but the lore as well, although the final bosses of both games essentially want the same thing as the Outer Gods in Bloodborne.

The first game is much harder: your weapons aren't as powerful; there's no penetration / explosive arrows. However, if you managed to beat this one, the first one wouldn't be that much of a problem. Just be careful about the pig boss... use the small dents on the floor to avoid getting knocked off (=sudden death) and you'll be fine.

It's a much shorter game, but I liked it nonetheless. It's much primitive, more like the classic action games: no quests; no dialogs; no RPG elements like leveling up or items; it all comes down to a test of your skill (mainly reflex).

So i just finished the precuel and jesus, it was also good, not as good as the secuel because it felt too short but man Laboratory boss was so peak, and the pigman fight was in my opinion the hardest one being the slug boss the second one, if the game wouldnt restore all your arrows after you die it would be REALLY hard, in that regard i think that they did a well and better job done with the new one.

Kinda sad it was this short, hope that they make some dlcs for Sinisister 2 with more lore and some bosses jajaja

legit i didnt expect for the games to be this good, so yeah thanks for the recommendation

B) if you get to the point where you get gbanged enough by demis, then you'll get preggers, then the demis will offer you a bowl of food.
From what I've noticed getting knocked up by demihumans seems tied to getting fucked by the big demihuman (think its the third time you go with them peacefully)
Doesn't seem to happen if you escape then get recaptured

Would anyone be interested in being able to override the games music/sounds in a mod loading way similar to how the game already allows player sprites and portraits to be overriden?
(Like being able to "easily"(depends) make a music mod)

maybe game 3 has a male playable character option :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

....unless?
As cool as being a Holy Knight would be, I doubt the author and his partner much care for it (especially given the lore.) Think they just want an excuse to make neat games with beautiful female protagonists.

Finished the first game and bro, as much as the 2nd game looks better than the 1st game (we can see why Nennai felt compelled to revamp a few things now that they finally got better at designing their Leila), the first game was TIGHTLY designed. You do get to see the basis of getting "cornered" which happens alot in the 2nd game where you get overwhelmed by multiple small enemies (notably in the Abominable Stomach area) when you finally get to the Pig Farm, and how 3 livestock parasites is enough to trigger a Game Over.

That said, the first game being tightly designed also meant the first game felt smoother than the 2nd game. The 2nd game doesn't look or play as rough as Night of Revenge does, but it almost comes close.

Ultimately, I have to change my perspective on Sinisistar 2 somewhat. I've come to realize that it's pretty much the Pathologic 2 approach to Pathologic 1, wherein just as Pathologic 2 was BOTH a remake and a sequel, the same case also applies to Sinisistar 2. Sinisistar 2 basically copies the plot progression of the base game, and the Leila's design is pretty much just a taller and bustier version of Rabiane, which feels like a remake, but it's set on a supposedly different area and it's NOT Rabiane, which makes it a sequel.

One thing the first game has that I wish the sequel did though, was the final Mimic boss fight of the first game, because that fight, despite being short, was fucking hype. Seere in comparison wasn't bad, and their fight was an interesting puzzle engagement (once you figured out you can destroy his eyes, the fight was pretty much over), but it just was not as hype as facing Mimic (and somehow hotter? Why the fuck was the church bent on hunting down other nuns when they already created the hottest one?) Rabiane with a much faster paced theme to match. It was a wonderful finale. I genuinely wanted MORE.

So, I'm having trouble getting the cheat version to load in. The base game works fine without issues. The moment I try booting the game up with the mod though, the game just crashes on boot.

BepIn does generate an error log though.

OK i finished with "No_Veil" mod. (it includes unsencored)
What is done: Highway events, Swamps, Village, Town, Cathedral, Cave, Lair, Farm and Final-Boss.
I had to drastically change some sprites like Tree Boss/Ruffians/Swamps due to bugs or empty sprite files.

I also added more emotional face expressions to some events cuz it was bothering me that MC dont even flinch while in labor pains or getting ravaged mercilessly...
