This game suddenly freezes on Startup, refusing to load
It used to work just fine.
Oddly enough, multiple of my unity games suddenly have this problem (e.g.: Udonge in Interspecies cave) and either freeze on startup, or instantly close, just showing a generic error with no errorcode.
It doesnt effect ALL unity games though, e.g.: Castle of Temptation still works.
Anyone know what the problem might be? I tried restarting my pc, updating my drivers and DirectX, underclocking my CPU and running as admin.
Running Sinisistar with debug gave me a log that was full of this message:
"ShaderProgram is unsupported, but because jobified rendering is enabled the ShaderProgram can not be removed."

No issue on my site, but hearing "underclocking CPU" tells me that you did something specific to the system and it now comes back to bite you.
Had someone have game maker games break on him because he used a "custom openGL".
As we like to say in techsupport: go do osri lol, we have no idea what you did to your system
I did the underclocking cause some people said it would help.
I went back to normal after.

There is no official word on the game being cancelled or abandoned, but it is safe to assume that Silksong will never come out, or at least not do so for a long, long time. I mean let's be honest, if you have a development cycle long enough to even give Eromancer a run for their money, you know that you're stuck in development hell.

i predict that this dude will be givin out an update a year later (considering that i found an update pattern within a year or so)
Didnt original Hollow Knight spend like 10 years in development as well? I mean it was probably less but I remember it being initially announced for Wii U, and that version got cancelled.
There's some way to buy points from the site, then you buy things with those points... not sure if it stiill works.
The first one has a lite version on Steam, I assume this one will be sold there too. You can buy it there and then play the pirated version instead.
if you bought it on steam, you can replace the entirety of the Sinisistar Lite files with the original.

Last I checked I couldn't even buy points. Which is a real shame since I used to buy a lot of games on Dlsite to support the devs. Hopefully one day we'll go back, but until then the most I can do is leave a like for them on their webpage/x and keep an eye out for a Kagura games or steam version release.

For some time, you were able to use Paypal to buy points, but this changed suddenly. I guess someone dog-whistled Paypal.
Same an what piss me off i keep seeing new games and new chapters of comics i have but can't buy.
Yeah credit card companies they are going hard on Japan that a video i watch today said a site called Manga Library Z be closing on November 26 due to them not letting them be used on the site.
