Now what? I got both parts of the eye crest. But when I interact with the gate, the guy just spawns again.
Did I sequence-break the game? Why does he even drop those if I'm not supposed to win that fight?

What happens if you just go for the gate after he spawns?
I had a theory that if you're playing it the first time, I think you're not supposed to break the sequence with the priest. I did a second round (this time with the exploding arrows) and the priest will drop both crests and I can open the gate.
You don't even need tranquebar.
All mob in this fight die with one hit even without Tranquebar.
You can buy as many MP potion as you want to recover MP, and in the video I have like 6k relics.
Nominally, there are multiple ways the gate interaction can go.
1: You touch the gate without the crests, the Priest Spawns. Lose to the Priest (The most likely outcome.) You get a parasite stack, and are left in the shack. When you escape, you will need to backtrack through the mutated village to collect the crests from chests, before returning to unlock the gate.
2: You touch the gate w/o the crests, Priest Spawns. However, you are a gigachad 1% player who can use uparrow to instantly fire an arrow into his face after baiting him into making an attack (and thus no barrier for that brief moment). You fill his face with enough arrows such that he dies, and get both pieces instantly without the need to backtrack.
3: You've cleared the area once, and gotten the explosive arrow magic. Just blow up his barrier and defeat him. He still drops the crests.
The fight isn't unwinnable on the first go, it just requires stupendous (and i mean STUPENDOUS) amounts of skill.

I figured it out. You see, I was very low on health and mana, so what I did was travel back to the church to heal without opening the gate.
So now I beat the bastard a second time, and instead went right for the gate, which worked.
Can I be a honourable gigachad, since I beat his ass twice now?
Guy, What should I do next? Press Z and that oldman doesn't talk to me, but if I walk pass him, he will cut my head off......

Only slug scene that don't have in Gallery, after boss...Hope they add it in gallery and fix some scenes that only have in demo...
