I'm not sure about the "more of that" XD
again, I'm not actually into gore, like, at all XD (thou I definitely think that scene really sells the horror and brutality and I would not want it gone, especially cause it feels appropriate as the goblins revenge for killing almost all of their kin by that point instead of being pointless brutality)
what I'd like more of is the goblin lair stuff, with the heavily blackmailed/weighted choice to reluctantly but "willingly" obey. Without any mind control, just the pure threat of consequences for not doing so.
Less of mind control and more of distorted perception due to drugged food. Then again, the food i given to a pregnant Leila, so that also contributes to her complete fall.

All I can say to that is:

same man, same
I want CGs of Haanja for each scene she is involved in as a minimum, and a full playable Haanja with a version of each game over scene with here as my true hope.
Don't get me wrong, I think Lilia and also Rabianne with their busty nun selves are really hot and cute, but I also have an appreciation for petite woman so I'd really love to have more Haanja action too.
That would require her character to play a mission in a DLC, which is pretty cool but needs to be consistent with her status as a supporter. Maybe visiting some new parts of Arcezon town while Leila is away doing her quests, maybe she has to step in for a particular quest while her friend is busy.

Make it a failure mode. Leila gets captured, so she heads out on a rescue. If you fail again they both fall.

Since we saw the eyeball associated with the Observer (Otherworlder of the first game), we can assume Rabiane is part of a quest for a DLC. Hopefully, she becomes playable. Heck, can you imagine a boss fight with Leila and Rabiane fighting as a team?

Watch the next to final boss to know the location and how to summon secret boss.
Can you please elaborate on how to find this final scene?

Also where is the Zombification fight? I know it was the graveyard guy but forgot his rematch location
Thanks

I'm not talking about the food. Not even the pregnancy. I'm just talking about the endless choice loop of:

With choosing to obey as a good little girl (especially if you still have the blessing of infertility) means the safety of not getting killed but means "willingly" accepting to be raped over and over again while choosing to fight might mean escape, but failing means death, which can push you to reluctantly accept their cock instead of the threat of death.

Not necessarily, her being made fully playable could have any number of excuses like alternative timelines along with just not being a lore cannon even and simply being for the enjoyment of the player.

Between the two games, which have the best animations/CGs in those categories, which stages do you prefer, and which boss fights do you like the most (ignoring better mechanics for combat in the second game)?
As a whole, I feel the sequel is an improvement. However, when it comes to personal taste, I prefer the CGs in the original while I prefer the animations in the sequel. As far as which stages I prefer, I'm gonna say the sequel's rendition of the lost village is an incredible moment. While I still have a lot of love for the background art for the original village the sequel definitely has more of a Resident Evil 4 vibe going for it. I love how the villagers appear 'normal' at first till you're first captured and it all goes downhill from there. Defeating the cultist priest there was my fav boss battle, too, since it feels like the stakes are already high when most players on their initial playthrough will get captured by it, beginning the parasite arc.

So, with that said, it kinda feels like fighting the cultist priest feels a bit more personal, you know? Especially when you fail the first encounter and it's a race against time to defeat that evil before you become part of it. Loved the music for that arc, too. That it pays homage to the original lost village is the cherry on top.

Plus, the Legion fight tribute.

I honestly don't know how or why priests got to the point of worshipping an otherworlder. Maybe contact with the otherworlder sent them into madness. Maybe otherworlder's presence passively dominates human minds into its servitude.

Edit: Since priests use brainwashing (if you get captured and impregnated), I presume there is some form of mind control going on among the clergy.
Those who want to discuss the storyline should at least read through the analyses of people who are deeply invested in the story, like me or that friend who prefers Lelia over Rabiance. Everything related to the church aligns with the Kessary region in Part 1 in terms of how it operates and its origins, differing only in the characteristics of the region, if you’re wondering.

On a side note, does anyone know how to extract the soundtrack from the sequel yet? I'd gladly buy it as DLC from the dev when and if that happens but seeing as I have the soundtrack for the first game, would be nice to play them back to back.

Or simply a higher power who's effects on the world they can clearly see around them felt like a god that is more worthy of worship than a subtle one working in the background that your only "evidence" for is the faith of wanting to believe in it. Hoping that if they serve this definitely existing god, then it will give them boon as a reward. Power, knowledge, immortality, pleasure, or whatever else humans crave that spur them into action and temp them into performing horrific actions on their fellow humans even in reality without any mind altering corrupting force.

Count me in. I was heavily invested in the lore of the original and would love to figure out where the sequel fits in.
