To be fair, the first game didn't really have a "story" per se. The only things you can get from it would be the background settings and artistic designs. Clearly, the team behind that hentai OVA didn't have a talent writer to make it a story, the result was a mashup of in-game scenes made in anime style.It could but looking at how screwed up the hentai version not following the authors will, I rather it stay as it is...![]()
The second game (this one) does have a clear story line. Although not a single straight path, I can see its story being turned into other media types with some tweaks.
Frankly, how well third-party adaptations turn out isn't really the priority. I'd say it's always a good thing as long as it provides the developer with some financial support, which hopefully would motivate him to make more titles.
