Stopped reading at "Chinese game" blud cant even comprehend whats Japanese and Chinese and hoping people would agree with the rest of his opinionI really liked this game, but my God would I like to give the creator a piece of my mind. Every Chinese game is an experience when it comes to backwards-ass controls, but this one takes the fucking cake. This might actually be the keyboard game with the worst controls I have ever played. I have almost twenty hours of gameplay, and I can still barely get my character to do what I want.
While it wasn't as much of a problem at the start, since combat is much slower, it ramped up to become a major problem near the end, and the controls ended up being extremely infuriating during the final boss, and I think the secret boss might be impossible? I had to resort to safespotting for the latter. It wouldn't be half as bad if you didn't need to manually hold sprint all the time. I don't even know why there is a sprint button in this game: with the current movement options there should be just one movement speed, "sprint" speed, and nothing else. Seriously, what were the creators thinking?
OK, so unless you're somehow expected to play with your thumb on the V key, that leaves you three fingers for the jump button and the three attack buttons. It's already a bitch how you're forced to use the ring finger, the weakest of the fingers, on the all-important jump key, but it also makes it really awkward to use the remaining three attack buttons with two fingers, especially once you start needing them in quick succession, and especially when you need to press C while holding V for the fucking bomb arrows. While holding down shift and keeping your ring finger on the Z key. What the fuck.
Here's the control scheme I would use:
Or better: M for the magic attack, K for the bow, that way you don't need to do an awkward two-finger press for bomb arrows: you use your two strong fingers, middle and pointer, and the pointer, the most dexterous, determines the type of attack. This way, you can even put jump on L if you're allergic to putting anything useful on the space bar. You can put the menu on N or something.
- WASD for movement (well actually, I'm partial to ESDF myself, but WASD is standard);
(This way if you need to have a mandatory 100% press time sprint button, it doesn't paralyse your hand.)- E for interact (it's sometimes annoying how you can't attack when in front of an interactable object);
- Spacebar for jump;
- J for normal attack;
- K for magic attack;
- L for the bow;
- M for the menu options.
If you need to keep it reversed with movement on the arrow keys, either put jump on the spacebar, so you can have the bow on Z, magic on X, and attack on C, or else you gotta use A, S, D somehow. At the very least, make attack and magic C and V, with the bow on X. Honestly, I feel like you could basically make any random swap to the current control scheme, and it could only be an improvement.
First to be indifferent: You can literally change the control layout under settings > keyboard to what you prefer.I really liked this game, but my God would I like to give the creator a piece of my mind. Yeah, that's a brain fart on my part, I don't know what I was thinking.Stopped reading at "Chinese game" blud cant even comprehend whats Japanese and Chinese and hoping people would agree with the rest of his opinion
Fair, and yeah, I don't know why I never checked the settings to see if you could change the layout. I think my complaint about the run speed and run button is valid, however.First to be indifferent: You can literally change the control layout under settings > keyboard to what you prefer.
Second to be personal perspective: I'd personally hate your control layout suggestion far more than both prequel and sequel of SiNiSistar's and (honorable mention for controls tomfuckery) Lab Still Alive's control layouts. I found SiNiSistars controls to be okay all things considered and I didn't change any controls for multiple playthroughs, even today still rocking the vanilla layout. You just get used to it after 10-15min if not sooner. Point in case, after getting used to it, I had a blast with Lab Still Alive 1&2, even if I kept misclicking for the first half of the entire game.
You're entitled to your own opinion and I respect it. But in this case I have to disagree because your entire complaint ends up being your own fault for not checking the settings tab
If I were the developer, I would think: there is no obligation to add new content to a finished game, especially if the game is already selling well. Just fixing bugs is responsible enough.So all content that he made, town, frogs, was about two spread legs drawn lol. Half year? Laughing
i think he wont stop, it has too much potential plus he will do it like sin 1 adding more dlc probably.If I were the developer, I would think: there is no obligation to add new content to a finished game, especially if the game is already selling well. Just fixing bugs is responsible enough.
Adding new content is something players should feel grateful for, because developers won’t earn much additional profit from it.
it's a trap! she's going to EAT HER!Haanja - Yay! We defeated all the monsters and freed Arcezon! Let's get out of here!
Lelia - Why don't we have a private celebration before we leave this place?
Haanja - What are you talking about? AND WHY ARE YOU UNDRESSING ME?!

Like, the Brandy? Head to the bar in the town, drink it and talk to the fat man at near the entranceWhere else do we use the dubious potion?
no, no, the dubious potion you get after the update with the poison boss. I know it knocks you down to 1 hp but there's a new gallery entry that states "use something at a certain place" or something like that. Since it's new and the potion is new, I figured you use the potion somewhereLike, the Brandy? Head to the bar in the town, drink it and talk to the fat man at near the entrance
nope, unfortunately that is nothing more than just the "kill yourself" classic mechanic in hentai game. which is questionable as to why dev decided to implement it now, this very late, into the game. it's even single time consumable item with no possible way to replenish more, what a trash implementationno, no, the dubious potion you get after the update with the poison boss.
