No release date yet, but considering that the developer say this "We are currently working on a content update and creating patches for the Steam version to include an all-ages version and an R18 version" logically and if not wrong could take like 2 or 3 months
Sorry to spoil the hype, but the next update is almost certainly another small free one like 1.10, meant to supplement the upcoming Lite version for Steam so fans have at least something new to look forward to. Nennai so far only made 3 new enemies, plus some new costume options, but the majority of his effort in the past couple of months seems to have been reworking the entire game to create a non-H version that can be patched separately. In other words, his focus hasn't really been on developing new areas that would suggest an expansion. At least two of those new enemies will be added to the existing swamp.
He's also currently busy with real life issues. Nothing grave according to him, thankfully. The DLC will most likely start to be developed after the upcoming update and his personal problems are resolved, so he can actually fully focus on adding new content. I suspect we won't be seeing version 2.0 until the 2nd half of 2026, at earliest.

Yea I could imagine that this would happen thanks to Steam their new stupid rules. That why I prefer use GOG now but anyway let hope this game gets something that we all enjoy without getting ruining. As well the developer can continue their game without any problems. I really like how this developer do the first Sinisistar and I really wanna see what the dev it's planning next. Also I know he mentioned about the swamp about putting new enemies, I'm really curious to see what will have and that gets a good content.

It's better wait more that 2 or 3 months and do other stuff. Considering that this update probably will not have the DLC, just a small update as Ozkan say for the Steam Life Version. Meaning probably that the developer have to work double to make a version for us that love NSFW content and another version for Steam that don't have NSFW content

The gallery blurb for the frame insect mentions how it is important to kill them before they flee, but I haven't managed to actually find any difference in between killing them or not. The point is double strange as the boss of the area is a portrait you probably would want eaten beforehand very much.

Nope, sadly.
It could be one or both of these old variants that didn't make it into the original release, but I'm not sure so don't take it as fact.

Bruh the game releases this year. Other quality japanese game like holy knight ricca still developing its dlc despite its already fully released from 2021

Regarding the dlc itself - dev often talks about adding a mini-boss as well as several new enemies and new maps to existing locations.
