use something like mod organizer and its not gonna be hard

Edit: I have no idea how easy or hard changing update versions is thru not steam and some spicy mods aren't updated to 1170

Yeah, last time I tried to mod my GoG version of Skyrim was a headache. Not only are mods split by Skyrim versions (Legendary, Anniversary, etc.), but apparently a lot of them don't play well with non-Steam versions.

You mean like cracked? it would be easier and safe than modding steam version because you don't have to worry about bethesda updating skyrim another time and it's just like modding steam version if you are using mo2 you just click start without steam after modding.
