You can backport SE animations to LE with this guide . I can confirm that it is working


ps: delete behavior hkx files before executing converttoskyrim.bat.... you must regenerate them with FNIS for developers (FNIS blue icon) anyway

Have you run into any issues by porting this way?

So I guess that means you're okay porting LE packs to SE then?

Yes
Do not run on *Behavior.HKX files in the directory "Billyy's SLAL Animations 9.0\meshes\actors\character\behaviors\" like "FNIS_Billyy_Human_Behavior.hkx" etc

Do not install the latest version of Havok Content Tools, install version 2010
you can download it here

Do not run through ModOrganizer etc!!!!



it is best to copy to the directory where Havok Content Tools are installed (C:\Program Files\Havok\HavokContentTools). This way you don't have to edit " "

copy " " to the directory "Billyy's SLAL Animations 9.0\meshes\actors\character\animations\"

run "converttoskyrim.bat" (preferably via cmd so that the window doesn't close and you can see any errors)

run FNIS for developers "*FNIS*\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Modders\generatefnisformodders.exe" and "Generate Mod Behavior" for each FNIS*.txt file in each directory that is located in "Billyy's SLAL Animations 9.0\meshes\actors\character\animations\"
for example
"Billyy's SLAL Animations 9.0\meshes\actors\character\animations\Billyy_Human\FNIS_Billyy_Human_List.txt"
"Billyy's SLAL Animations 9.0\meshes\actors\character\animations\Billyy_HumanDD\FNIS_Billyy_HumanDD_List.txt"
etc ....


To backport meshes and textures download and unpack somewhere
Run "Cathedral_Assets_Optimizer.exe" -> set profile to TES5 -> click "Open Directory" -> point to "\Billyy's SLAL Animations 9.0\" directory -> click "Run"

don't forget to GenerateFNISforUsers at the end

It is not my guide, I'm just a user who can confirm that it works.

To port from LE to SE use

it's a much simpler process than from SE to LE,

download -> unzip to animations -> run "converttoskyrimSE.bat" -> done

I can't confirm it works in game, but it converted (do something with them :) the files without any problems, even the behavior hkx files..... If not work try to regenerate behavior files with FNIS for modders


If the animation also includes some meshes and textures, use to convert them.

I don't think so, I just edited it myself in paint.net by opening up a copy of the skin and cutting out that mole sized shape (of moleless skin), saving it and then adding it as a layer onto the enabled skin to cover it up.
Probably not the most efficient way to handle it, but it worked.
