For those of you trying to get upscaler to work. There is a steam application called lossless scaling that cost like 7$. That does both frame generation and upscaling as a third party application, so it works for all games. I use it, its really nice.
Losless scaling is the goat. i play 40 fps lock and use x3 multiplier. Getting 120 fps and don't notice the delay input at all

Might worth waiting if you starting a new game though. New version should drop soon.
You are the best! For those who live in Brazil, paying Patreon is very difficult. It's almost another week of work here.

Is it better to overwrite the old USSEP or just use your version? (thanks for your work btw)
It's mostly safe in a current save but to get better results a new game is the best choice.
You can find in the folder
02 USSEP Custom Patch
all the patches I used, this help me keep tracks of the changes I made.
(there are more vanilla fixes I didn't mention for example the fixes for repentance (Illia quest).
Here is my custom

I think I have already posted this in these forum.
CC Fishing is a badly scripted mod that introduce a lot of suspended stacks in the game. It's recommended to use the mod " " from nexus site.

This is a progressive work of several years and bring a rock solide stability in SSE 1.5.97.

Installation instructions of Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch v4-2-9a -Bain:

1. Check both folders
00 Core (original USSEP 4.2.9a)
and
02 USSEP Custom Patch

2. Folder 02 is for documentation and contains the custom patches used.

1.5.97 and it's extremely stable.
Unless there are mods that you want that specifically require game versions >1.5.97 then its not worth it. If your load order is stable why take the risk? This is why I'm still on 1.5.97.

You could have multiple installations of the game. Keep 1.5.97, then have another which is the latest version and fix your load order while still having a working game.

I agree with you but testing needs time (at least two months to fixes issues of a SSE version).
Adding mods also trigger new bugs, for example in my current game I'm testing Amorous Adventures and Ostim fixes for it, and I find issues with the quest "FreeformKarthwastenA" something that didn't happens to me since the release of Skyrim.
Dyndolod NG Dll also cause issues with Thieves Guild jobs (I learned that in my latest setup, now I using papyrusutils version instead of the Dll).

Its a Generic shader based post processing Suite like ENB/CS

It works with majority if not all games, for Skyrim purposes you can pair it with ENB or CS on top of them, handles some stuff either of the two cant. Plenty preset available on nexus just like ENB has them, usually made in mind for some specific weather or ENB or combo of both.
Reshade can be also ran alone at a low FPS cost if ur PC cant handle ENB etc (unless you go into RTGI/MXAO - Ray Tracing Shaders).

For my setup I use ENB+Reshade, so its compatibility is a need.
Have you seen any major differences between Puredark's FSR FG (paid through patreon) vs doodlez's ENB FG (free on nexus)?

I see that doodlez's was also helped developed by puredark I don't see why he would help develop something for free that would put one of his paid mods out of commission, unless it was strictly worse. I mean, aside from the support for reshade...

I went with the Best of Both option. Mostly because The Cause CC mod crashes when picking up the Mythic Dawn journal on 1.5.97 and that there are a few mods that still haven't been ported over, like One With Nature and some settings loaders.

Anyone know what are the mods for the outfit, tail and horns, and the effects of the character on top of her head?

Is is worth to upgrade to SSE 1.6.1170? that's the question I'm asking since a few days. The good part is that you get access to the latest features of SSSedit and some that were not ported to SSE 1.5. However, there is a risk of instability and compatibility issues (that need time to discover and solve) and I'm really not happy with the road taken by the Unofficial Skyrim Patch (dependency on a lot of CC and a lot of the are questionable particularly the one done to meshes and locations).
short answer is yes i have a list of about 400 mods works great just takes time

I googled a bit and found some reddit threads complaining about this issue.
I never had issues with The Cause because I use a manual downgrade from SSE 1.6.640 to SSE 1.5.97 (never used downgrader tools from nexus) and use my own advanced reduced version of that creation

and even this its tweaked by others plugins (Medhad and Granas are extremely strong in my game and they are the one that hold the new CC weapons).

I'm going to do the SSE 1.6.1170 adventure and will tell you how I proceeded and the changes I made to USSEP (even at that step I will fork Arthmoor work as I did it before) and how I use "reduced versions" for the new SSE 1.6.1170.
